Percussion instruments often offer really cool sounds that you can add to your drum kit. LP started a campaign called "LP Your Kit" where they have numerous artists showcase their individual ways of incorporating percussion instruments into their drum kit setups. Here are some of the most interesting and most fun instruments to use in this scenario.

I use 2 cowbells, agogo bells, 2 jam blocks, tambourine, ribbon crasher, timbale, various hat tambourines, hat shaker, and a hat sleigh-bells contraption I made!
Loved the video. For weight reasons, I sometimes bring a tambourine or cowbell to gigs instead of crash or ride cymbals. And this video reminded me: I promised to bring a cowbell for the gig tonight! They don’t have to cut, you can blend in cowbell, depends on muffling and how you hit it.

I've been using a brasilian tambourim for the last couple years and I find it very useful
Killing in the name of…. It’s always one of the last songs my band plays to close out a night. I use a Chad Smith Big Red Cowbell and a red LP jam block instead of two cow bells. And if I’m being honest that song is the only reason I bring those to gigs, cause i don’t use them in any other songs…. Lol
This opening with The cawbells from Rage Against The Machine's Kipling in The Name is simple but memorable!
That trap setup was truly something. Never thought that small pandeiro would have such a deep thud.

@@ArtOfDrumming Yes! It worked really well & the sound professional agreed. My normal tambourine jingles are a bit deeper in pitch. I’ve always favored that tambourine for that reason. I’m excited to utilize this tool for an ease of convenience. Throw it it the stick bag & use when I don’t opt to bring a tambourine. 10 out of 10. 💪🏻🤓 Thank you @ArtOfDrumming

I use a whole bunch of LP stuff for my kit the only thing I wish LP made was A Tumba Compact Conga To Round Out The Trio along with the quinto and the conga
