    I have
One of these chinese engines on my snow 2014 cub cadet 24" thrower, 208 cc. Same thing, metal gas tank. The only way to beat the formation of condensation and water building up inside of the gas tank is to run ii empty and blow it out at the end of every season to make sure it is completely dry and Totally empty including the carb. I learned after the first season and now I never have a problem. I belieVe , the problem will be traced to the fact that the metal heats up and cools down quickly plus the gas tank is sealed by the gas cap , which causes condensation to form every single day that there is a weather change, especially temperatures. Engineers refer to this point as thermodynamic condensation. Thanks mark for highly informative video, And you always do a great job! 👍👍👍

Had six side roll sprinklers. All with the old school L head B&S with steel tanks. All summer long they are under near 100% humidity and over 95 degree f days. Never drained a tank, used additives. Lucky if I changed the oil every five years. Never an issue. Talking over 30 years worth of filling the tank, and the crankcase.

@@Failure_Is_An_Option And I would expect that you did not have a problem because the problem occurs under transiet and relatively large atmospheric conditions. What you describe doesn't fit those requirements for condensation to form in large amounts. And in terms of maintenance, Depends on how hard the mower is used, how frequently it is used, Dusty conditions or not, et cetera. So for the majority of people what you have described as an aberration and it is not normal for most people. And your description is misleading for many.

Feel for the person that pulled that rope so many times it finally gave up.
