What do you guys know about Skinny Joey Merlino (Ex Jockey), Scarfo and Keystone Racetrack (Now Parx) . How involved were they at The Track? Thanks Matt
From Philly- worked in the city at the clubs during the Stanfa-Merlino years. Met dozens of these guys and hung out with them at Egypt nightclub, Deco, Delilahs, River Deck, and Eighth Floor. Joey and his guys had hands into so many things IG the legit world that they almost didn’t need the illegal stuff. Chucky had a brother Lawrence "Yogi" Merlino who was Leonetti best friend who was a soldier who became a captain. When Scarfo demoted Chucky, Lawrence also was dropped from Captain to soldier. Scardo wanted to have both Merlino brothers clipped but Phillip talked him outta it, again according to Phillip
we need more about John Gotti LOL
Yes
You know Joey knows a lot of people bikers black mobs don't know if it be that easy?
Are the Philly guys making real money? Sometimes I feel like they’re just a group of friends trying to hang on to the lifestyle and keep it alive. It seems like the 5 families aren’t doing great so I can’t imagine philly killin it being in a smaller city that’s mostly black. Does south Philly still have a large Italian community?
They are in New Jersey Delaware Boston South Philly and Florida.
@@buymybooks437they’re not in Boston and never really have been dude lol
@@buymybooks437they’re not even the strongest criminal group in Philly. Now all of a sudden they’ve taken over the entire northeast? Lol. They just appear to be more active and powerful than they are because ppl are always talking about Merlino.
5 Families have over 800 Made guys and thousands of associates active in the New York area, They are very active and making money in ways,..they are more low-key but active in the different neighborhoods around NY, .You'd be surprised where crews are and what they do these days...
It seems the Gambinos are becoming more prominent on the national level compared to the Genovese, who historically had that role. The Gambinos have the strongest ties to the DeCavalcantes and now we hear Philly shifting to the Gambinos. They also have what is left of the California rackets with Tommy Gambino and his brother..
The Gambinos have always been more prominent. True mob aficionados know the Genovese are really the most powerful and always have been. Gambinos will always have more widespread name recognition.
Hmmm I think la EME, runs Cali, the Italians might have like you said small stuff, but the Mexican Mafia runs that show.
@@BostonsF1nestyou are 100% correct. I can’t understand why you would want any name recognition if you are in the business of organized crime. It makes zero sense. The Genovese have always been at the top for making money, staying low key, and not having nowhere near the informants in the family as the other 4 families of New York and every other crime family around the US that’s actually left.
Scott sandboxs🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I've Seen A Few Of Your Podcasts And I Liked Them. What I Don't Understand Is Why You Guys Are Dealing With
Every Informant On The Internet. As A Retired Street Guy This Is More Than Disturbing To Me. I Hate Informants!
I Know The Back Grounds Of All These Rats And This Is Not A Good Look For You Guys . You Made This Decision.
Now It Will Bite You In The Ass !
What are these guys doing to earn now a days?
Gambling, extortion, legitimate business
They are hustlers that’s what they do they make money
The mob Is done or the caption will get killed every few years Sammy is walking the street after being involved with 19 murders it's over
You’re obviously very new to this lol. They tried killing Sammy in the early 90’s and failed. That’s that. The fact that he was involved in 19 murders has nothing to do with anything. Why would anyone kill him now? Or even 20 years ago? The mob could care less about that fuckin guy either way.
@@BostonsF1nestThe bosses get a little action off of Sammy's UA-cam profits. In exchange, Sammy will always have access to info. 😊
@@feortega7340 yea, I highly doubt that. They would never in a million years associate themselves with a known snitch. ESP one as famous as him.

i think no one has told you anything, all are just your opinion. bcs i don't believe people tell things for free and i don't believe you have that kind of money to give. this podcast is starting to become a joke...

Why are you people ratting on these guys. If you are interested in the mob. Why would you give information on who they are and what they’re doing
It's one thing to talk about ppl after there life's all said and done and it's all public record but this talk on guys that are out here trying to live is a whole other ball game but whatever lol lolol
The feds know this. Where do you think he gets this information
