@@lewisjohn2597 thanks again for the continued support 😌. That’s the plan, more rest and sprint programme 💪. Want some more wins 😀 it’s been a while.

Good effort GW! You got quite close to the end before you got dropped which tells me you wouldn’t have to put much more training in to finish with them! Well done bud! Also how’s the X3 going? Do you follow the push pull X3 program 6 days a week or do you modify it? The last few months I’ve been hitting 6 days a week pretty much and definitely noticed some improvements both physical strength and muscle definition wise!

Nice one G-Unit. Think I'm some way from hanging till the end but will keep giving it a bash in C. Happy l can still race in D tho' . The X-3 is immense, I'm rigidly following the programme and this is week 14. 😍it as it really is a 15min workout!! I've introduced the cross over chest thing and split squats. Use a simple door anchor for triceps as didn't find that comfortable across the shoulders. Not made huge gains, but only the last two weeks have I really been looking at diet, protein intake and reducing body fat %.

@@GingerWarriorCyclingClub Well you didn’t look too out of place to me fella! Great effort! I haven’t set foot in a gym since Covid and been doing resistance bands ever since, (had some off time recently but 14 weeks back in now) I find introducing a second set beneficial for the big muscle groups, chest, back etc or if you don’t quite feel the first set. also the last 2/3 reps probably the most important for intensity to stimulate hypertrophy (a lot of people leave 1/2 reps in the bag without knowing). high protein diet will definitely help with being in an anabolic state as well as eating 200 to 500 extra calories a day, (however I know we have Zwift to think about 😅) so eat at maintenance or lower if you just want to tone up, and lastly healthy fats can be just as important for regulating natural testosterone. Anyway I think I had to write this to remind myself 😂😅 and I better start practicing what I preach 😅

@@G-Unit-fitness cheers for this 👍🏼. Yes I do the diminishing reps and gone up bands again for some exercises. Will stick to one set as want to minimise the time & knackered anyways. Zwift is main focus, to keep improving and hopefully get competitive Cat C. Just did the Achterbahn course - it’s a killer !
