I have this same jacket and it’s phenomenal. I did find that the oxblood fades at the shoulder and arms (where the sun hits it most). I hit it with some Obenauf’s LP cream once a year to keep it waterproof and to darken it. I’ve had many compliments on it. I’ve lost a lot of weight and I need a new one. I was very disappointed that the latest version does not have the magnetic collar stays. It also does not have the back venting nor the bicep venting.
Damn i feel old. I have this jackets predecessor. Rode hard in it for years then hung it up for a few years. Just got back into riding this year. Incredibly similar jackets
Yeah, i'd like that stash pocket...i've been using a similar pocket on my jacket. good idea with the stickers...i have some in my tour pak and a couple times i'm like...hold on a sec, just a minute, its in here somewhere, lol. Man your bike sounds good! (squirrel, lol) Nice review man.
I keep looking at this same jacket too. I'm looking to add a cafe style jacket in a brown or brownish leather. I want something that I can wear through the weather in NC, but versatile enough I can wear through out the summer when it doesn't feel like Satan's bedroom. I used to wear a Joe Rocket Speed Master 2-piece (black) and a Sedici 2-piece (white/black) all through the summer and winter in NC, which both vented rather well with the spandura in the arms along with the added zipper vents. I will say spend the extra money on quality gear does make a difference with thickness of leather, double stitch in the impact zones, dual density armor, accordion panels, and buttons (opposed to Velcro). I'll most buy the Joe Rocket Sprint TT in brown, the one draw back I'm finding is that most of these jackets don't vent well though. I've had my experiences with mesh jackets and they do offer a little protection at parking lot speeds, and if your jacket doesn't fit snug, you will damage your skin if you find the ground at speed . . . (ask me how I know). I still wear my mesh/vented gear for dirt play and low speed street riding though, something is better than nothing at all. Keep up the videos Brother, you're doing a great job.
That’s some excellent input there for sure. Roland Sands also has a perf leather jacket too. I’ve thought about looking for one for the summer. It does get sweltering hot here though and the second you’re still, it’s like satan sends hell flies that swarm you lol
solid review. don't own any leathers yet and am in the market for one. was interested in the one you had, perhaps not in the oxblood red though, until I saw the price tag. big NOPE for me.
So the Signature is about $100 more but you get the armor and the magnets. And quality leather isn’t cheap, but you know what they say, “buy once cry once”.......I’ve been doing a lot of crying 🤣🤣
Damn nice looking jacket. That's for sure. Unfortunately I had to sell my HD jacket to pay some bills... Trying to find a jacket I wanted to save up for and I think this is the one! Great review dude. Keep it up!
I have the jacket but I wish it had an armpit gusset. Perhaps some of the accordion material that they use for the sides, in the armpit. The RS version is supposed to be fade resistant.
That’s not a bad idea actually for the armpits. I do think my jacket has begun to fade some though. Even with the coating. But I live in Florida and we get a harsh sun lol
Great vid amigo! Good review on this jacket and I like that color. Looks good. Liked how you described all its features and the fit. What's the armor rating on the elbows and shoulders?
Damn I want one now! Missanity (wifesanity?) did a great job filming! Personally I think I’d go with black but I’m not sure, that Oxblood is stunning! Roland sands stuff is always like that though. The details on the elbows and shoulders are next level man, money we’ll spent
I really, really want this jacket - #1 because I don't want yet another black jacket and #2 because of the design. I really would like your input. What size is the jacket you're wearing; I think we're similar body size and I've seen Revzilla's video on this and they state that the jacket runs large. I don't want a $750 baggy sack. Your reply will determine whether I buy it or not. Thanks!!!
Right on dude! I will say I bought a large and it fit ok but I wanted it more snug. So I exchanged it for a medium. The medium is a little shorter on the arms by about an inch but I prefer the medium. Oddly enough though the large on the non signature fit slightly better lol. Revzilla is awesome to work with bc I exchanged them like 3 times
@@REVSANITY Thanks for the reply. More question(s)....LOL! What sleeve length do you normally wear; 34, 35, 36? I'm getting a naked bike and I think the reach is different from that of a Harley. Leg & sleeve lengths are bugaboos because I was a gangly teen and I could ever own anything with long enough sleeves and leg lengths! The medium looks excellent on you. Have you maxed out the cinching on the waist belt? Revzilla doesn't carry it, but RS has a small stock. I want to nail the fit because I can't visit their store and I want to avoid the back and forth shipping issue. Thanks for your help!
@@Ramon51650 I normally wear a 34 in dress jackets so I guess 34? Lol and as far as the waist is concerned, I keep it as it came in! My waist is about a 34” so if I try to tighten those snaps, it’s a little too snug. Hope that helps!
@@REVSANITY The more I read about the jacket the more confused I get! LOL!! I tried calling RS, and the answering machine was as far as i got; then I went to my local Cycle Gear website and of course they don't have any in stock. They do have a comment stating the jacket will fade due to sunlight. So of course, you're the man to ask! Then I went to Urban Rider on UA-cam and the guy on it says that the tone of the jacket has changed from a brighter read to a "toned down" muted shade; another question for REVSANITY Man!! The English guy says he's 6'2" - 39 inch chest (boy doesn't eat hot food!) and 33" waist (me too). He sported a large and claimed it was snug......sigh. I think you may have a career path doing demos!
Just got mine today. Curious to know if you've had any fading issues yet, a couple reviews mentioned it. I have RSD oxblood gloves, and they are faded, but they just have a patina look that I dig.
Yea so unfortunately this Florida sun has caused it to fade a little bit. It’s still an amazing jacket but it’s not as deep as it was new. I’ll probably do another video on it when it gets cooler.

Who wouldn't like this jacket? Vegans and poor people, I suppose...

Hahah thank you man! Always appreciate you. Yea that slot was the perfect spot for the stickers bc I didn’t want to struggle to get to them
big fan of leather jackets but definitely outside my price range at the moment. Now put some leather tassels on those bad boys!
Haha idk how I feel about the tassels! I know people who do slap them on though

Thank you for checking it out man! The armor is from Knox and it’s CE level 1
Yo great video and cool looking jacket! Love the way you did that walk around of the jacket.
Thank you man! Yea man the wife killed it!
That is a sweet jacket. I've never found a leather jacket that fit me correctly, so I tend to stay away from them.
Thank you! Yea it’s really just a try it on until you find one. I went through several before I found one that fit me too
Awesome video! Rocking your sticker on my work bench

Thank you for watching! They really did a great job with this jacket
I like the detail of the jacket. I’ve been looking for a new leather jacket, (I still wear my Harley one 😱) 😆. Good review bud
The details are so nice! 😂😂 you should keep that Harley one lol and thank you 😌

What size chest are you and what size jacket did you get?
I am about a 44” chest and went with a medium bc I prefer my leather jackets to fit tighter
