#RidingMotorcycles #WhyShouldYouRideaMotorcycle #DealingWithAnxiety - Авто та транспорт
Hey everybody! I hope you liked this video! I took it a step further than your typical reasons for riding and I hope you enjoyed it! If you did, hit that subscribe button so we can give away that gopro when we get 1K subs! You guys are awesome!
Good stuff! Bring a tissue, this video gets deep 😭
cried like a 10 year old girl
That’s was so inspiring. I love the #3
I know i'm not the only one and I hope it helps somebody 😌
Excellent reasons to be on 2wheels. I love how the motorcycle community is stressing and being open about mental and physical health issues. Riding has helped to keep me sane this past year for sure.
there's not one single community where somebody hasn't been affected. thank you for checking it out!
Hell yeah!! Love all these reasons. 1000% agree. Been there with going to the hospital for my anxiety! That was before I got my Harley though. Also I’m always super pumped to meet a fellow Metal head 😝🤘🏼
Oh heck yea!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 I had a great time talking about the greatest musics ever lol
Great video! Man panic attacks and anxiety suck. It’s good to see so many others riding and using motorcycles as therapy and a de-stress tool. Appreciate the honesty and good job on the video!
Thanks smitty! It really does help! 😌
I find that I’m the most calm when chaos erupts around me. It pulls that energy from me and I feel relaxed while everyone is losing their minds. On the other side, when everything is calm around me, I’m going out of my mind. Gotta Keep Moving.
I’m very much the same way man! I find more peace in chaos at times
I feel the same way. I feel like I'm a bit a freelancer and float to whatever group accepts me at the time. Meeting all these fellow moto vloggers have been awesome. I like your attitude about bad days, it's a struggle but it does get better. Keep up the good work.
right on man! everybody in this community is awesome :)
All great talking points, man. I don't even know where to start. I have tried to fit in with a lot of people in my life and I have tried to be a part of many groups, but being a biker means the world to me. Bikers are the most friendly and kind people I have ever met. As you said, I have found my wolf pack!
Humans are territorial and a pack species man. Deep down we all want to belong somewhere!
Great channels! I follow them all. Totally can relate to all of your points. I have also been to the ER thinking I was having a heart problem. Anxiety runs pretty bad in my family. My wife and 2 of my boys really struggle. One of my boys was out of school for 3 months because he just couldn't leave the house. Great video! 👍🏻
Social anxiety is the worst man. Thank you for sharing that. Amazing how so many different people struggle with it. So glad we have a support system for it!
Hey Rev, I have all kinds of days too. Riding and talking helps. Glad to find the channel. Keep talking!
absolutely my man 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I'm new to riding. And I love it. I wanted to learn to ride before my dad passed away, so he can ride with all his sons. But that didn't get to happen. He passed earlier last year. I have his 76 Electra Glide (Major work needs to be done, short story his wife at the time cut the fuel line before he went for a ride and it ignited.) I don't know where I belong, I have 2 buddies that I ride with. Both have been riding for a long time, one is a veteran buddy the other is a coworker. I have a Iron 883 and they have baggers. After I rebuild the 76 I guess I'll be able to ride with the big dogs. LOL! I love the support from you and others that I meet on here and Instagram. (networking) LOL! Lot of wind therapy coming up. Going down to Daytona from SC. Keep up the awesome videos. I know this helped me out. Thank You.
That’s so awful about what happened with your dad. So sorry to hear that.
That’s special that you have his bike though and that you have buddy’s your ride with. Sometimes that’s all you need 😌 thank you for watching!
Another great video man! Thanks for opening up to us, this is why we love you ❤️
thank you so much my man 😌😌🤙🏽🤙🏽
Number three is what drives me. PTSD and anxiety are things that I did not think I had until a doctor told me. So I crave riding almost all the time.
It’s crazy how much more aware we’re becoming if PTSD and different anxieties. Glad you have an outlet to help!
The motovlogging community on here is so much larger than I realized when I started a channel in January. And they are all incredibly supportive. It’s a really amazing community - virtual friends through shared interests. Good stuff.
it really is! some people think it's dead, but it's definitely not! you just have to find out what you want yours to be about. and definitely! it's amazing how supportive people are in this community
@@REVSANITY I heard the same thing about it being “dead”, but I honestly thing that the pandemic shifted the world in such a way that more people found themselves on UA-cam. As both viewers and creators. Best of luck with the channel!
You too! I realized you followed me on IG so I went on a like rage for your page hahah. Keep it up!!
@@REVSANITY Thanks! Someone shared your info over there and that’s how I found you. Enjoyed the video and will check out more at some point. Trying to keep up. 😊
Dude I’m so proud of you, seeing your subscriber amount up constantly is honestly amazing. Keep up the badass work bro 😎
Hey I appreciate that man! I’m really enjoying this grind and seeing how people are enjoying it too 😌
hey man, good on you for not being stubborn and getting your ticker looked at. not something you want to chance! good stuff!!
absolutely! always want to make sure i'm somewhat alive lol. thank you for watching 😌
@@REVSANITY well, it’s hard to ride if you’re *not* alive.
@@moto_989 so right! 🤣
All great reasons to ride! And yes wind therapy is definitely real! Great video 😃
Gonna get some more today! Lol
You're not the only one! Well said, Thank you.
You’re absolutely welcome 😌 thank you for watching!
Great video, man! Thank you for opening up and sharing a part of yourself with everyone- that takes guts. Looking forward to the next video 🤘🏼
my dude! thank you! always so glad to see you in the comments 😌😌
I ride because it's my freedom from work, my freedom from my worries, freedom from (like a lot if us) depression. It clears my mind of clutter because I know I have to relax but concentrate on the ride so I can get home to my wife, my sons and their partners, but most of all home to see my grandchildren
Man that’s awesome. Family and riding go hand in hand sometimes 😌
I come from a family in ministry myself my parents were pastors my dad passed but he was a awesome guy. I'm like the only one on my immediate side that rides but tons on my extended side rides. Beautiful sunny day were you are at I'm in Florida just moved not to long ago and I love the sunshine. Why I ride I really don't know I just tried it at first it was mopeds then a motorcycle and for me it's just a fun hobby and a way to meet people who are apart of an unspoken club
Thank you for sharing that! And yea it really started as a hobby for me but I tend to really unpack things as I get I to them and find myself wanting to be very in tune with the things that make me happy. So I end up analyzing a lot lol
I've reiterated again and again...if you have a license to drive a car you DEFINITELY should ride a motorcycle! Even if you don't ride regularly, it still makes you so aware of what it's like to be in the saddle. I really think it should be a free "add-on" class of a regular DL test
That would be awesome to have an optional add on like that! It would make people so much more attentive!
I rode dirt bikes growing up, but when I discovered in Ohio at 14 I could get a drivers licenses for a Moped I got one and that fueled my desire to ride on the road. I never had street bike till college due to Mama said no, like most mama's. I have not had a bike for quite few years due to several reasons, but the love to ride has never gone away it like an addiction that comes on strong every spring and with the discovery of Moto Vlogs it just fuels that desire. But nothing like getting in the wind and riding out in God's beautiful creations Have fun and be safe.
Story of my life haha. It always starts as rebellion. And in many ways we are all a lotta bit rebellious hahah. It’s probably the healthiest addiction I have 🤣🤣 (I’m not addicted to anything I’m case people legit can’t pick up the sarcasm)
@@REVSANITY well except the expense my main reason for not getting a bike the past few years is wanting a Harley and they been a little out of my budget.
Haha, on point 2 when you were talking about the face reveal, i was thinking about when we met, my brother was like what's he look like, i was like damn, i don't know, lol. You come walking in and i was like "that's him in the red jacket" lol.
Thanks for the shout out brother 🤙🏻
Hahaha gotta have the identifiers! Legend has it you still don’t know what my face looks like 🤣🤣
And you’re welcome my man! Memphis shades is on the way!!
@@REVSANITY gonna be awesome...can't wait!
It's freedom and now with winter almost over and not ridden for almost 6months I really want to ride.
I can’t imagine that for you guys. I would lose my mind
I started riding because of mental health. I was in a dark place. I wanted to die. My brother suggested I start up something new to try to take my mind off things. I bought my first scooter and it was on from there.
Nowadays I ride to alleviate my negative feelings. I’m an angry person, I don’t want to be, but I get angry. It’s much healthier and safer for me to take my frustrations out on my bike than a person or myself. It’s relaxing to ride out solo and find some solitude and just reset my brain.
Lastly. I ride because I always thought bikers were hard as F*** and I wanted to be like that.
Wow man....that’s so humbling that you shared that. I used to struggle with anger really bad too. Sometimes it wants to rear its ugly head. I actually sought help when I lived on Cali and that was honestly the best thing I ever did to help me navigate my anger and root causes and fear of being vulnerable. The bike helps a lot too but talking with a professional who understood my inner pain made a huge difference 😌
Also riding does automatically make you a 6 on the hard AF scale 🤣
Wind Therapy is REAL! I Literally named my bike Therapy! When I twist the throttle, all problems are behind me! Enjoy!
that's so awesome! solid name for her 😌
Dammit! I missed it again! 🤬
🤣🤣🤣 you’ll get in on one! Thank you for watching though for sure 😌
Its definitely an escape, I love riding my bike to work... For that hour ride home, I can completely decompress as I watch the sun rise over God's country!
It hits different when you can feel everything in the open 😌
🙂🇵🇭🙏❤️
