You know how mad I was when I found out Philadelphia cream cheese was invented in NY? 😂 They only used our name for it because we were known for having high quality diary/food.

Did you go to a speciality store for the salmon? I can't imagine it's the salmon you can buy at a regular grocery store.
If it is farmed in norway then i think it is safe bc they give antibiotics to the salmons
