That field in Switzerland looks gorgeous!! I’m a guy who loves mountains more than anything else and loves playing soccer, so this field looks like a dream for me!
9:15 Funny enough, the Milwaukee Mile Speedway in Milwaukee also used to serve as a football stadium during the early days of the NFL (nicknamed the Dairy Bowl). It even hosted a NFL Championship game between the Packers and the Giants.
Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Former home of Wake Forest football. It had a racetrack paved around it in the 50’s and NASCAR held races there in its early days. It’s nicknamed The Madhouse and still hosts races
Also just checked it on Google and it still hosts football. Including Winston-Salem State University. If that doesn’t multi-use works I don’t know what does
Mmabatho Stadium actually has an interesting concept, what with all the individual upper deck sections; maybe if those individual sections were oriented so they at least faced the field, they might be onto something.
There are actually several stadiums in Europe and South America with a fence and moat around the pitch (to stop pitch invasions). There are probably hundreds of stadiums in the world with "moats" including some of the biggest stadiums in the world. For example, I remember playing a U19 tournament match in Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi in Verona, Italy, which seats 40k fans and hosted 4 games during the 1990 World Cup. To this day, it still has a fence and moat surrounding a running track and the pitch. If I remember correctly, the only way onto the track/pitch was via a bridge over the moat on one side or a tunnel under the moat on the other.
I love the fact that you've finally covered Kenilworth Road (Luton Town). Not to be a massive homer (And nobody probably cares) but Luton have been promoted twice in two seasons and they are actually selling out every home game, as they are the league below the EPL. JUST SO YOU KNOW :D
Well cut to 2023 and Luton Town are going to be in the Premier League and will at least be playing their 1st season at Kenilworth Road. Also that club being in the Premier League is one of the most remarkable sporting fairytales
FivePoints Vids about to become the next Hollywood star with those ad videos, and the Stadio San Paolo moat is often used to drain rainwater from the field. At least here in Brazil the stadiums that still have a moat have this purpose. Perhaps another use is to prevent fans from jumping into the field.
Some of these entries make me wonder... what makes a field into a stadium? Some of these seem like just random fields at some place, not even intended to be stadiums.
Five points vids. I’ve been to ingals rink many times and last year I seen my highschool hockey team win a state championship there. It’s a dope rink, the architecture is a little unorthodox but it’s a great place for a hockey game
As some one who goes to Central Park to watch stock cars you’ll be sad to hear that they don’t play football at the same time but there club store is a cabin
Kenilworth Road has been an ongoing issue that Luton Town FC, and it seems that they might finally get their wish in building a new stadium when the Luton Borough Council have FINALLY approved the new stadium site in January 2019. Al Masry Club Stadium calamity resulted into cancelling the remaining 2011-12 Egyptian Premier League season, and the coup d'état in the following year didn't help matter either.
And I thought it wasn't possible to get a worse stadium than Oakland County Colosseum (the perfect example of why trying to build stadiums for both NFL football and Major League baseball was never a good idea)
Igralište Batarija(the Stadium next to the 15th Century Castle and has Parking for Yachts)in Croatian translates as Bataria Playground!! Also, when you say Middelfart in Danish it sounds like MLLLLL(that sounds you make when you roll your tongue)MLLLL-FAAHT. 🤣🤣
Not sure if you saw my comment from one of your other videos. I did mention Ingalls Rink and how awesome it is. Its much better in person, looks nice, and has won many awards. Plus New Haven doesn't have much going for it and this is one of the notable things...along with Frank Pepe and Yale. So I recommend you come here for a game. Closest airport is New Haven-Tweed. Rest of video was neat.
The worst stadium reminds me of the fiction field on which The Hackensack Bulls of Brewsters Millions played. Only the train went through their outfield!
Eero Saarinen was the architect for the gateway arch and one of his designs is on this list as being the worst hockey area. Every Finn or Yooper, if there are any watching this video, would think otherwise.
kenilworth road easily the worst stadium in my opinion. like, not only do they make the away fans go through people's houses, but they also subject the home fans to watching luton play.
The moat around the playing is to protect the players from the hooligans, much like the ones that ravaged the stadium in Port Said. Because soccer fans in countries like Brazil and Mexico, take their loyalty to their soccer teams seriously, I mean SERIOUSLY. So that is the reason for the moat.
There’s some great grounds here and it comes across as very “why aren’t these all heartless american corporate bowls”. I’ll take terracing in a housing estate over the soulless nfl domes any day.
You DON'T understand why there is a SEPARATION ('moat') around a soccer field. It is SO obvious. Sepatrate Insane and dangerous fans from the game. DUH!
The Hartford Civic has a small mall attached to it and the first time I was there I went right from the mall to what looked like a movie theatre to a 16,000 seat hockey arena. That was kinda strange. The Palace of Auburn Hills (Detroit) has a small area of about 20 shops in the corridor before you enter the arena proper.
The moat in the Italian stadium is for safety. Stadia Azteca in Mexico has the same feature so not only do you have to climb a fence to get onto the pitch but you have to clear a moat. crazy soccer hooligans
I think there should be a biggest high school stadiums list
Jared_Moose_Jones #1 Texas
Coming at number #2 Texas
At number three we have texas
Their all in Texas.
Yeah I live in South Florida and we take hs football really seriously, but Texas and their stadiums are insane.
Newsome Stadium in Mansfield,TX
@@kylecavagnaro7907 lol, it's number 45 on the list

Bowman Gray Stadium is another football stadium with a race track around it, look it up
A castle right next to the field is pretty awesome though
Cynon can you play the ball off the wall like indoor soccer?
Yeah, it is probably worth the occasional limestone sandwich.

Trashing Kenilworth Road = always the best videos. Good stuff
Do you know about Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC? It hosts Winston-Salem State University Football as well as short track stock car racing.
A lot of stadiums have moats. They’re an architectural design that helps the stadium move freely during an earthquake and avoid collapse.
Five points vids. I’ve been to ingals rink many times and last year I seen my highschool hockey team win a state championship there. It’s a dope rink, the architecture is a little unorthodox but it’s a great place for a hockey game
There is a novelty with the last one. Free train spotting as a soccer match takes place. Its a win win.
get you a girl that loves you more than FivePoints loves stadiums
The trench is there to separate fans from getting onto the pitch....i think..it has to be
You should do best and worst locker rooms or training facilities in the ncaa/pro football/basketball home/visitor
I was hoping that Gillette Stadium would be the top spot.
It didn't make the *cut*
Wow! How did you get that big?
Everytime FivePoints gets sponsored by Manscaped, I do one push up.
Jesus christ.

i think the moat is supposed to represent how stadiums were built back when gladiators used to fight lions and bears in them
These English/ Scottish ones sum up non league football it’s amazing the vibe at the games are so different fans will die for their teams
i like these, keep them coming,i wanna see more terrible sport stadiums
That Mehtil Stadium is literally the same as about 50% of all UK footy stadiums, you're sadly mistaken here chief
Your manscaped ads are officially better than perna's
The Stadio San Paolo is a deathtrap, kids will be dropping through those holes!
so it looks like that stadium in scotland is re-VOLT-ing
And I thought it wasn't possible to get a worse stadium than Oakland County Colosseum (the perfect example of why trying to build stadiums for both NFL football and Major League baseball was never a good idea)
Why in Bundesliga, spectator nets are being placed in front of fans, while Premier league has not this like.
Hey I just clicked pretty early let me guess....
O's Coliseum must be in here right.
Igralište Batarija(the Stadium next to the 15th Century Castle and has Parking for Yachts)in Croatian translates as Bataria Playground!!

"Ottmar-Hitzfeld-Stadium" not "Hitzfield".
Hello neighborino!
That's Ottmar Hitzfeld Pitch NOT a "stadium"
Nah, that train going through makes that one of the best stadiums ever. I want to go there now.

7:10 thats actually a really cool idea, it just needed to be executed a bit better
That Switzerland stadium in the mountains was sick wym
That Swedish mountain one was actually pretty cool
Ah, Middlefart. Where they sell beans at the concession stand.
Never going to take these stadium videos for granite
Interesting fact. Luton Town was the first ground to have an artificial pitch.
List of all F1 tracks from worst to best? Can't wait to hear that Baku is a setup by the government.
The moat in Stadio Ean Paolo is so fans don’t go onto the field.
The sponsorship part was A+ quality.

Stadio San Paolos moat is probably to keep fans from rushing the field
10:37 Thomas and friends😂😂😂
All of the seats Central park in cowdenbeath are restricted view. No joke
Nicest stadium in every country. Maybe then my stadium fetish will be cured.
Cowdenbeath is one of the best entertaiment tarmac tracks in stockcar racing👌🏻
When you have a Slovakian version of Brewster's Millions.

Braga is one of the best stadiums out there
Edit: And Cowdenbeath away is fucking class and make a part two just about Hamilton Accies Stadium
A stadium above the mall, whats not to like?
Can't lie, I would love to play in that stadium in Switzerland. Who wouldn't wanna play on top of a mountain?

Make a video about the best highschool stadiums
