Rest in peace Akira Toriyama and Koichi Sugiyama. Now Yuji Horii is now the only surviving member of the original team that has been involved with the series since the beginning. I can't even imagine the pain Yuji and the Toriyama family are going through. But you 3 will always be remembered for bringing joy to JRPG fans everywhere over the decades. 🙏😔
Rest In Peace Akira Toriyama. The man who defined a generation, who revolutionized anime, shook the world with his adventurous masterpieces who have touched the lives of so many. Thank you so, so much Toriyama. Rest in paradise, maestro!
*Spoiler Alert* the moment Veronica started playing this, I teared up a little, I was so happy to hear this song, I did not expect it to be in the game. God I love this game
I literally bought the game TWICE because I had to have the symphonic version for my Switch. Who knows, might even trade in my original PS4 version for the Definitive Ed. S on PS4
Goosebumps and tears every time I listen! This song automatically puts me into the atmosphere of a beautiful but broken world that needs help and a huge journey is ahead!
@@SIFAssassin this is why they say "never meet your heroes" lol. I try to separate the work from the artist and appreciate the work instead. Most of the time the people behind greatness have flaws and thats because their human at the end of the day, we are all infallible and prone to darkness
He was not a good person. However, he was a great composer. The same could be said for Wagner. You don't have to like the person to love the beautiful music he made. Maybe deep within him, there was a semblance of light. To create something so heavenly and emotionally moving. When does Veronica play this? I just beat the first part and went back in time and defeated Jasper. Going to the King (he is still possessed) I guess I need to play more. I think I will after this.
@Muffinconsumer4 who is his apprentice? Will he be composing the bulk of the music for DQ12? If so, thats great that he doesnt share the same sentiments as his predecessor while still delivering banger music lol
The man's life has come to The End, but our journey still lies ahead with a To be Continued. Thank you, Akira Toriyama, for teaching me what "Brave" really is. May you rest in peace...
When this first played in DQ11 I never wanted to leave the air. I wanted to stay in the bliss that was this song. But eventually I had to move on and play the game and progress the story.
I feel the presence of God when I listen to this song. I definitely want it played at my funeral/home going. Just incredible. Hairs standing up and I could literally cry. Thank you Koichi
Rest in peace Koichi Sugiyama, thanks for all the amazing music you created, Dragon Quest wouldnt have be the same without you, it wont be the same without you
I still tear up a bit when Veronica starts playing this song. DQXI has been one of my favorites for a wile now. First got the game when it came out on ps4. Then when the definitive edition came out on the switch, it was one of the deciding factors for me to get one. Now playing through it again on ps5 just because I love the story and gameplay that much. Will always be a memorable journey. I always thought this song was called the song of awakening. Luckily searching around did not take long to bring me here. Once the scene started again, I finally asked myself why have I not added this to my playlist after all these years.
I did another playthrough, turns out it's also at the part where you have to (SPOILERS FOR FURROWFIELD IF YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN THERE FOR WHATEVER REASON) collect the heartwood from the deitree.
Haven't played the other DQ games, though I'm definitely considering it now. I've only played Builders 2. The fact that this music plays in literal Hell. The world is ending, your best friend - for all you know - is probably gone, and you're alone, and yet you have *this* music playing. Hope in the darkest times. You literally went to Hell, yet heard and saw Heaven. This is why I love this game so much.
I haven‘t played this Game since the Switch release in 2019 and I completely forgot about this Track until now. What a masterpiece! (I really should check out the other Games in the series)
I just beat this game today as my very first Dragon Quest game. I'll just say, I don't think I could've asked for a better starting point for my adventure into the world of Dragon Quest. Now I'll put the game down for a while (around 2 months) before I start the Tickington quests. After that, time to decide which game to play next.
After beating Timewyrm and getting all trophies, I was back to the flying whale with this song playing, then I cried when I realized it was time to uninstall the game
"Uneasy" and "death" are not things that I think of or associate with this music whatsoever. This song is triumphant. In no way does it evoke sadness or anxiety. Not sure what kind of drugs you two are on but you need to get help...
R.I.P. Dragon Quest XI 2017-2021! The true ending upsets me a lot! The music cries when the true final boss is defeated! The Heavenly flight music upsets me a lot! After the True ending All Dragon Quest XI heroes including Serena and Veroncia will be leaving the world!

This played at my sister's funeral back in 2005. It has a place in my heart and always will
May her spirit find its way to the hall of heroes, and embark on that eternal adventure.

That music is similar to Zelda revived from Legend of Zelda The Minish Cap!

In my humble opinion, one of the very greatest video game songs of all time. This was written to move hearts.

Yes it most certainly does! Or at least as much as our ears can hear of it.
Ironic that it plays in a dark world thats being destroyed in dragon quest builders 2 called malhalla.
