Andy....if Malays Land come with Malay Reserve Title, other races can't buy only can rented accept if open title then anybody can buy without any problem. All buildings (house or commercial) can rent by local or foreigner
13:30 You had a beef murtabak... Yati is a person's name, not the name of the food. LOL. You should also try a rice dish called Nasi Kerabu in Kg Baru. Google for more info.
Hope that you have had a good time with your day exploration in Kampung Baru, KL, the last traditional Malay village in the middle of the city, a big contrast between the old and new.
dude don't generalised.. it not a Malays village anymore.. majority of the Malay moved out decades ago.. that area is now a prime real-estate worth tenth of billions.. what you see are Indonesian migrant and refugee enclave..
mna fakta kmu yg mngatakn kg baru bkn milik melayu? mmang rmai pndatang dsitu krana tuan tanah mnyewakan rmah mreka, kbanyakn generasi ke3 mmiliki rumah dkwasan lain kerana mampu mmiliki rumah sndiri, indon yg brniaga dsitu adlah pkerja migran bkn pemilik, krana tanah dsitu hnya bleh dpindah milik kpada bkn melayu mlalui prundangan, sbab itu brkali² kerajaan cba utk mmbeli ggal krana trpaksa mminda undang² utk mmbatalkn status "rizab melayu" ats tnah trsebut,
@aroundtheglobeandy the land owners , home owners and business proprietor in Kampung Bharu are still Malays, the workers manning the eateries there however are Indonesians . The entire kampung Bharu land are worth billions and till today the owners of the land and homes won't sell it.

The land owner in Kampung Baru are millionaire because the land cost million of ringgit if developer want to develop there...
