Got accepted for the fall of 2018, I’m really considering Davis
Highly advise going to picnic day esp since it’s coming up! Great way for first years to meet others and see the vibe of UC Davis. I know I enjoyed it last year when I went

Is there a way to know what are school materials to bring for class? Can I email professors to ask? Because where I live the prices are cheaper and I would like to have all my materials ready before school starts and before the prices go up.

Hi! I will be hearing back from UC Davis in March and it’s one of my top schools. I have a few questions if you don’t mind.
1. Is it difficult to get into the classes you want? Is it hard to graduate in 4 years?
2. How big are freshman classes? What is the average class size at UC Davis?
3. Do professors ever grade on a curve? (The kind where some students’ grades can be bumped down.)

My department would be CA&ES with a major in Animal Biology. Do you know how hard it is to get classes in this area? I’ve heard science classes can be pretty difficult to get into.
I just want to make sure I can graduate in 4 years at whatever school I go to.
Alex Fisher-Wagner also- I heard a few days ago that I was accepted (OOS). Not sure if I’ll be attending but I’m very excited and UCD is definitely one of my top schools.

Love your videos! What are some cheap options for transportation? In one of your videos, you said the Facebook group (UC Davis Ride Share) is a good choice. I live in the Bay Area, so would it be around $10 each way?
Hey Alex! So you know how the vets bring in their dogs. Where do they keep them? Do vet students live in the 3 campus halls cuarto, etc. and are they allowed to keep dogs there? Or do the vet students with dogs live elsewhere not on campus? Thanks

The dining commons doesn’t offer scantron anymore haha I wish they did that :(
Haha yeah not anymore. They do sometimes hide scantrons and blue books at the silo by the line at Peet’s though!!!
Do you happen to know when is the earliesti can switch majors? I know UCI may let u switch majors at their orientation.

QUESTION:
I left a comment and while ago, where I asked whether you were a film studies major. You mentioned that you were a CDM major I believe. Is there any way I can get in contact with you to talk about that major. I was in Davis for a CRD (community and regional development major), I left because I felt that wasn't actually something I wanted to fully continue with. I'm exploring the idea of film and digital media. Currently taking an intro class for digital art and I would like to touch base with you and talk about how the major looks like in Davis.

In Segundo dc, we would sometimes have vegan donuts and choc chip cookies. Also the vegan burgers which tastes like actual meat.

Oh cool! And so, what are the college meet and greets and cultural receptions? (Under college of Letters and Science) does it matter what we choose? And if we choose options, does it separate freshmen into groups to go around open house?
