Laben and Kearney used to be called Tercero South 1 and 2 for the first two years it was built. It was the newest buildings when I lived there. Now, I believe it's the oldest in Tercero.
I'm applying this Fall to transfer to UC Davis next year and I am super excited. Your videos answer a ton of my questions that I can't find by simply Googling. Thank guys!

Your videos are super helpful! I'm currently getting the ball rolling on my TAG and I'm almost totally sold on Davis unless some other crazy opportunity opens up. My stepsisters went there, and I used to sell pastries at the farmers market, so I'm excited to get even more familiar with the area. Thanks for your info, I'm still working my way through your catalog and you've both taught me a lot in the few weeks since I've started looking around.

I'm visiting Davis this weekend. How we're the job/research/intership opportunities over there?
I just got accepted! As a second year student, are you able to live in one of the three dorms and have a meal plan for the dining commons?
Congrats! You can live at the Green as a 2nd year and still get a meal plan as well! You can get a meal plan too even if you live off campus.

Are there shuttles to get your classes if you don’t bike?
does every dorm hall have a kitchen available? I’m trying to decide which meal plan is best (5 vs 7day)
Yes-ish - they either have one or there’s main hall nearby with one. I’d say if cooking interests you go 5 day - if you think you’ll get lazy 7
Is there a clinic on campus if you get sick?
Hi, I just got admitted to Davis as a transfer student and of course accepted because its my dream school! I have been really confused on the whole housing situation and would like to choose what is cheapest, the main options I have found are sol in west village (off campus) or green housing (on campus). Do you know of any other options I could pick from and where to find their prices?
The sol is probably one of the most expensive options tbh. The green is a little different as it’s on campus housing so if you get financial aid it actually can help pay for it.
Cheapest options are going to be off campus in North or South Davis. Look at complexes along Sycamore Lane north of the cross street Covell (it’s by the Jamba And Safeway) or in South by the Safeway/Teabo

Would you recommend an electric scooter as a mode of transportation?
I got waitlisted form davis... what are some things i can include in the short essay of continued interest?
Pick things that are specific to Davis or the program you want to be in at Davis. The more you make it very Davis specific the better!
I got in. Since I am an international student, it is very expensive. Are there any financial aid opportunities?
Also is it worth spending the big bucks?
How are the research opportunities and internships for mechanical engineering students?
Congrats on getting in! There are financial aid opportunities however I would contact the financial aid office for more info. The Mech Engineering dept definitely has research and internship opportunities- even for undergraduates!
