Cooey also made big game rifles in their later years, the model 71, and the model 710 are bolt action rifles chambered in .30-06 Sprg, .308 Win. and .270 Win.
lovely review for sure my mom was candian and my uncles and grand father had Cooey single shot shot guns and i remember them having Imperial 22 shells. I am lucky enough to have some imperial and canuck 16 gauge shot shells
This won’t play from the link I’ve got, but I’m on UA-cam, (& on your page) and it turns out that I wasn’t crazy, must’ve confused you. I love this review, and watching you get through 10 shots beats the hell out of the 50 I’d have put through the 10/22!
I found one here on Kodiak Island Alaska , I paid up $200.00 & I just adore mine, so koooool & fun. A nice peice of Canadian History , Heck I shoot it more than just about all of my other 22's It is just that dang cool. kb
That Cooey peep was literally a bent pics of sheet stock with two slots milled and stamped with t&e graduation, and the actual peep was more or less a bolt with a hole through it. They are like hens teeth, I lost at an auction at over 150$, almost as much as the rifle
Cooey s didn't need them until 1968. The acceptance proof shows it was a military arm. Check out forgottenweapons vids on the cooey. Basically 39,75,78,82 were the same just different barrel and stocks

Very nice! Exactly like mine. She likes to shoot, too. A perfect companion for my WW2 Inglis Hi Power.
They do shoot! So fun! 🇨🇦👍

Thanks! The Cooeys are everywhere and those old ammo boxes are fun to collect too. 🇨🇦👍
Love the old Cooeys!
Me too! 🇨🇦👍

That's awesome, I love mine too! Thanks for watching!
I have a model 82 that has that action, but looks different.
The front stock and bands are often removed. Sadly removes a lot of collectibility., But still a great rifle.
@@ndenise3460 I thik my stock may have been cut short. There are no marks indicating a band was ever there.
I’ve got a Cooey .22. I am looking for the bolt as my dumba$$ neighbour stole it. Any chance of replacing it?
@@catalhuyuk7 try the guys on the Cooey fans Facebook page. They're usually super helpful.👍🏻👍🏻
More info on the sight ?
Isn't it a Lyman sight ?

Is that a Lyman sight ? Looks like it there are some on town post for sale

No serial numbers.
Nothing on the barrel, just the numbers on the stock.

And many 82s were sporterized.
