- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
Today we're taking a look at the new Oatford map which has been released in the past few weeks via Fellowsfilm Studios. The map depicts a small fictitious region in Oxfordshire with many small towns and villages to explore.
Today we're going to be driving the Studio Polygon Lite in the fictitious "Oatford Bus Company" livery on the route 87. This route is approximately 7 minutes in length and runs between Sheepton Railway Station and East Pagbid.

this map is very much based on Oxfordshire, the town wantage is real, and is preety accurate, I would check that out for a good route experience.
Nice video again!
i cant download it lmao
This is very much like Devon, often you’ll have busses going down roads like this!
Lovely map, the small roads add a nice change and challenge!
Buses definitely do go down narrow little roads like that. I'm from Scotland, and there's a bus route near where I live (the 35) that goes along narrow roads with blind corners and through towns barely wide enough for the bus
Nice video Joe! The map looks fantastic
Unrealistic when passengers stand up. When there is lots of seats available:)
@@JackT21 yeah but that’s a bus problem not a map problem
Congrats on 11k subs
Along on of the Stagecoach bus Routes to and from Chichester Route 600 Chichester to Elmer & Bognor Regis there is stupidity a bus stop opposite the routes where the bus pulls in and out from and the bus drivers hate it because it’s hard to stop at it and the bus always blokes the road both ways when it dose stop at it witch is all the time because it in a housing estate and because that bus stop is also the bus stop for the Holiday Park. And Stagecoach bus always use a big bus manly -> Enviro 300’s, Enviro 400’s, Enviro 400mmc’s, Enviro 200’s & Enviro 200mmc’c. Stagecoach bus very rarely use a Optare Solo’s and or a Optare Solo SR’s. Stagecoach bus have also used a very long single decker Scania on the Route 600 once or twice! The Scania was on loan from Stagecoach bus London witch very rare and random to see her in Chichester especially being used on a actual bus Route! Love the videos Joe.
Hey Joe, do you recon you could do a video in the Write Gemini 2, possibly even in an arriva livery? Arriva is my local bus company and the best bus they use round here is the Gemini 2. Would be nice to see it in one of your videos. Cheers
Joe - Mentions Oatford is similar to Smarden and says he can't think of the name of the map
Me - shouting Smarden at my phone while coughing my guts up 🤣
Awesome map and vid! If possible, could you do a video on the S9 in the Stagecoach Gold 400MMC as that’s what they use irl. Thanks!
hey max there isnt a UPDATED WILTSHIRE-OXFORDSHIRE STAGECOACH GOLD PACK as of now! the creator is busy working on other repaints currently, so we may need to wait a while.
@@SF62CWT yeahh I just discovered that :(
@@madmaxaviation if only we had an up to date enviro 400 i could make a gold livery.. as im not good with making repaints for the mmc
Hello Looking into playing OMSI 2 how do you get the first busses because I have them around me and I find it cool and also have this bus what your driving too thankyou
Can u do another route on London 24 or the add on London
That Pimlico route is ace isn't it! I think we should revisit it in the future.
@@JoeDobsongaming ye pimlico is fire
Ooo new map!
New map indeed! :D
joe i need a new wheel to get back to omsi 2 and bcs
A door when you gonna do the route X5
thanks for reminding me that oatford is out. forgot about omsi.
I really want OMSI2 do I need to have a steering wheel in order to play or can I use keyboard controls?
u can use mouse, keyboard or steering wheel :)
YESSS
The roads are quite small in the town, won’t get 2 buses down there, needs a lot more work, not for me personally - way too much green too
I think it has great potential, but as you say does need some work.
Hi Joe! I was wondering how to actually use this map? I’ve already downloaded it and moved it to the OMSI 2 “maps” folder, but it doesn’t show the map on the in-game menu. What should I do to actually drive in the map?
Follow the instructions in the readme.txt file included, make sure to Load map without buses
Thanks so much! I’ve finally got it working now☺️
This map needs a Dennis dart
You messed up again Joe, said the 87 but ur doing the 88
Hi Joe, i do agree with you that the map is in an unfinished state but also has the potential to be a good map.
After driving all the routes i do feel the 87 to East Pagbid is a really narrow route for the bus the creator chose for the route, I’m also quite surprised the Route 90 doesn’t extend to the rail station as it somewhat follows the same direction going into sheepton.
The S9 route is at the moment is alittle pointless only part of a route don’t know if it will be extended to Oxford itself at some stage.
Scenery is good in places and bad in others and transitions are what catches my eye on tgis map the most especially on Route 55.
Anyways the creator has worked hard on this map i just really hope in the future it does get better as time goes on.
I completely agree with you Joe about this map, I hope the developer's not gonna get discouraged, but I think your criticism was on point. Personally I don't mind if there are same shops but if some of the main roads are so narrow that you can't drive a bus on them without hitting the curb and the oncoming vehicles then obviously that's not good at all. I wonder has he not done a test drive, surely they aren't meant to be that narrow? About the same width as a one way street could be.
