  • Today, I did my very 1st order on Airspace. What do you think about the pay. This week is continuing to be slow on all the gig app. I have to keep moving forward, 2024 is my time to grow my clients for my own business. Always motivated.

    Airspace definitely pays. I did a 248-mile run from the airport and they paid $442.29. To offset the fuel cost I use Roadie to guide me back. I also did a quick Redcross to a hospital run and got $40 for 12 miles

    Another thing that I don't like about Airspace is, for example, if you accept an offer in the app picking up at the cargo airline and delivering it to the hospital and 15-20 mins later you accept another offer picking up at the same location and delivering to the same location, they only pay you once for it because you're delivering to the same location! 😒

      @BigCJCargoVan  2 місяці тому +1

      No, Airspace does not offer contracts, only on demand work. That contract was from a company on CB Driver. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the company.

      I'd have to did through my emails. I know Pinnacle is hiring, but they don't pay $350 per day. The company I found was on Indeed. You have to continually check Indeed and CB Driver. I think the contract I was offered was on CB Driver. If I find the email, I will update this response

      Look at the rate sheet they sent in the onboarding package to estimate before the trip and once you end it shows you the rate before any modifiers like incentives. It will show you the actual total for the trip under "order history" when you are done. In LA it's $1/mile for cars and SUVs and $1.75/mile for vans. Many times they will have cargo van orders that easily fit in my Tesla. I like to do long runs in the Tesla since it's so cheap to run. Orders started or ended between 8pm-8am they add $10 a trip. If you have to hold a package overnight (I did last night) it's called "pick and hold" and it's another $30. If you have to tender at an airport it's another $30. They also add incentives to some orders that people pass on. I saw one last week with a $220 incentive! Airspace is easily my favorite app. It usually pops off at night when everything else is dead.@@BigCJCargoVan

      54 inches between the wheel wells. Most pallets are 48 inches, so plenty of space.

    How do you get tsa servide

    • @Damidoo
      @Damidoo 5 місяців тому +1

      Get a TWIC card. Transportation workers identification card. Google it in your area. I got mine at a Staples actually. They fingerprint you and run all types of background checks. Once you have TWIC apply with Airspace. They’re awesome. Run a lot of medical implants and tissue samples. Mainly late at night and far distances at least in LA.

      They are different, but both are useful. Twic is more for medical supplies and access to government facilities or ports. TSA is for airport cargo.
