The Best Gift | The Gifts of Tongues and Prophecy Part 2

Pastor Tom continued his series on The Gift of Tongues and Prophecy with part two titled, The Best Gift. In 1 Corinthians 14:1 Paul says, "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy." Pastor Tom explains that there are two types of prophecy: private - for a person, and public - for the church.
He also talks about the gift of speaking in tongues and how speaking in tongues will build up your God-given gifts. Our motivation for spiritual gifts should be to help make the church stronger. 1 Corinthians 14:12 - Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel.
