they sell your data, collect everything you post there as a review etc. for AIs and stuff… nah… not for me… google is enough…
You can cut and buff those aheadlights
Don't do it! Don't click the link!
Awesome job man, happy to see you getting paid. Always gonna be people complaining when someone does better for themselves, they're not paying your bills. Keep up the great work.
@outsidethebarn please tell me you’re going to make a video of installing that nice new two post lift!?
Red valve caps give more horse power, blue ones make it run cooler
Oh, my mistake
Facts
😲🤯
My green ones really improved my fuel economy.
So you put the red ones on the back and the blue ones on the front so you gain horses without overheating
In a pinch you can use an open end wrench and thread file to determine bolt diameter and pitch.
Thread checker got props
i noticed the blue torino in your video, but you could only see the tail lights.
Taking the ltd to Wyoming you say? What part, I am from Casper and would love to host a BBQ if you would be interested! im very interested in what will bring you to Wyoming?
Family up there.
Here comes the Temu sponsorships. 😂
I hate temu so much, but I'm so stoked everytime you get discounted/free stuff. I support people supporting you. 😂
They helped keep the lights on! So that's always nice
He sold out. This is my last time watching and commenting. Temu is the devil.
@@Jason1975ism at least you left one last comment
@@Jason1975ism gotta help the algorithm
@@Jason1975ism Mate, Maybe you bought the wrong stuff because Temu is awesome.
Put a little grease on the threads of those valve stem caps or in 6 months you’re gonna have a bad time getting them off.
I have recently learnt this the very hard way
dude that happened to me, thought tire shop did it
but yeah little fker got fulled with anti size
and it was just one that stuck
I’ve actually had good luck with temu = those Chinese are coming on strong; unfortunately
Yo! Got a mid lift i see. Cant wait to see you put it to work.
I always thought it be so cool to have one of those nut and bolt identifiers at home when I pick up hardware at the store but honestly never really looked to see if I could actually buy one somewhere… Good Idea!
I say snag this one for 5 bucks or whatever, totally worth that. Use PayPal or a 3rd party app of some kind to pay
I can’t get one for that price even using the link provided @outsidethebarn
I spotted that Hoist behind you ;-)
Very much deserved :-)
Dalton if those blue valve stem caps are aluminum, beware I had a set many years ago and they seized on I had to cut them off with a dremel and mini cut off wheel. Dissimilar metal corrosion, may be OK if you use something to lubricate them, some people say chapstick works good. Just wanted to save you the headache I had.
@@lifequest7453i think its the mix of metals that corrodes faster
i only had one get corroded,
ive seen metal expand from frozen condensation so anything can happen
Thanks Mr. Outside the Barn. My son is going to college soon and I am trying to build him an inexpensive kit to take with. I think TEMU will help. Also, @ 5:43 , real farm trucks don't still have both mirrors attached, that's how the tail gate got dented.
Please don't. Harbor Freight is the go to.
Buy some cheap tools but don't forget the AAA card. I have a feeling that a lack of tools is not going to be the issue if y'all break down.
Dalton you and her JD should do a make over of the pole barn . I'd watch it LoL
At least tar the roof so it doesn't leak! 😂
Puddins fab shop does the shop renovation stuff. Boring as church.
@@douglasforsythe5853 He can just do it the Pole Barn Garage way and throw a plastic tarp over the roof.
@Jason1975ism but do they have the same sense of humour as Dalton and JD? As that is what would make it work.
Dalton, not sure if this is well known but the TEMU app is notorious for data mining your phone. I would not recommend personally.
sometimes it costs even less to go to a local auction sale...
Aluminum, valve stem caps ,
Will fuse too the copper.
DIY.
Temu is the same shit like Wish
Those bolt sizer things come in handy we had some where I worked.
The People's Republic of China thanks you for the shout out
Secret to making all ratchets better… including the Tumu one you just got is super lube from harbor freight… absolute game changer, in smootheness. My made in the USA 1980’s craftsman feel like snap on now.. I’m only half kidding the difference is really night and day. I open up and lube all my ratchets with the stuff now.
Gov' tSurplus Gun Oil for the AR15 or the Spray Nano-Lube that came from Helicopter service - nothing slicker and few things cheaper that work and last: both of these permeate metal.
Dont install this aluminum tire valve. Will stuck there after 6 months. Happen to me.
Try checking your tire pressures more regularly
Use a small amount of anti size on the valve stem threads. I run aluminum caps and never have had them corrode and seize on there since, even in heavy winters and salted roads. @toti6656
This is one of many reasons Dalton is the true budget car guy none of them big time UA-camrs would use temu
Exactly!! What does that TELL YOU ABOUT Temu?
I use temu myself so far I'm fairly impressed
@@Jason1975ism They dont pay as much for sponserships?
These like you said are perfect for the light use and possibility of growing legs
Possibility? It's a guarantee lol
I'll support the video my man but after being hounded-non stop by ads from their company and having to actually threaten Google with legal action by harassment over it, i will politely decline the app
Fair
Hey Dalton thank you will definitely use need a socket set to put behind the seat times are getting tight we could all use a little help appreciate it
LOL, Dalton I got to say when this channel name popped up i didn't know what to expect but pretty good. I guess what i was thinking the videos you two were making out side of the barn would be doing van things. But i guess that would be called behind the barn. ;-)
The mini sanding kit is awesome from temu and it's great for spot paint runs or repair and something like £2.50 for it with 400 to 3000 grit velcro paper ( 70 piece) so I buy like 10 at a time!
Links didnt work. Luckily.

I have that same set of step bits and I use them all the time. They're very high quality unlike the Jag-u-war!
You are living the temu dream. Those blue valve caps don't add 5hp per wheel. You got them on temu, they are discounted so the hp drops to 2.5 per cap. If you would pay full price then you will get the full 5hp per 😂
Those battery terminals are great. Put them on my 92 Silverado and 96 Mustang. Damn O Reillys battery terminal snapped just like the one I had to replace.
Hey if your passing through Riverton wyoming this summer you have got to stop by Specialty marine and ORV that's ware we build most of our vehicles and boats
I don't actually know where we'll be passing through lol
@@outsidethebarn oh, well if you get the chance that would be cool but if not hope you enjoy the state
I just mounted a red version of that thread checker in my garage but I got it from the jungle website.

I used those blue valve stem caps on my Wrangler… they look great because they match the 4xe blue.
i did silver, for a buck there great
got 8 free somehow too
I love Temu. Some of their stuff is just trash but if it's more than 3 bucks it's pretty good. I have electric rotary shavers from them that are excellent.
Hey what did you think of those crimpers that you got??? I got a set before Christmas to use but have not gotten to use mine quite yet!!! I also got mine from Temu and I wish I would have waited so that I could have gotten them much cheaper!! I think mine cost somewhere around 26 to 30.00$ but still definitely worth that if they actually work??!
Aren't you afraid the Chinese will steal your information on top secret PBG projects?? Lol
I'm kidding brother!!
If you come through Wyoming, drop into Pine Bluffs - I'll buy you and the missus a round! Kids welcome at the watering hole here and good burgers too!
I have the wire stripper/crimpers and they work great. I've rewired a boat with them and temu version of soldersticks and the weather terminals.. I keep an eye out for the Temu Tangtools kits😂
Ah Temu, the magic of getting Chinese slave labor direct to consumer. Make you kind of understand how much Harbor Freight marks up their products.
They have some quality items and of course some crap. When you find something you want put it in your cart and keep looking. You’ll come across it cheaper as you look or wait a day or two, it usually comes down as they try to get you to jump on the price. Dude definitely bought some stuff I was very skeptical about though.
i tried temu last month, didnt git the items i ordered an my bank account also got hacked into an my account got drained, have never had my bank comprised before that
I buy a ton of stuff on TEMU far cheaper than anywhere else and I get it in a week in most cases.
Idk about the Temu ones, but the quick release terminals from Walmart SUUUUUUCK
If you have brass valve stems do NOT install aluminum valve stems caps. With a little moisture you get galvanic corrosion and there will come a point where you can’t remove them. They will have to cut the stem off or drill a hole in your tire to replace the stem.
I love spot mirrors. I've had them on every car I've had. I currently have a Scion xb with them.
Queue all the China hate comments now.
I have some stuff from Temu. I did have one terrible speaker that they refunded me on. Otherwise it’s not bad stuff.
I bought some security bits from Temu because they were cheap. So cheap in fact that my t6 stripped in the first screw. Got the screw out but won’t be able to use it next time. 6 bucks down the drain.
I tried that step bit set, works ok on wood, but they didnt work well, or last with steel. I ruined 4 of them to make 1 hole bigger in 1/4" which i know they not meant for that.
Hahaha i have the same with bolts i know al the metric sizes just by looking at it but i just cant see it with inch sizes.
Thats what you get when you're from Europe 😂
Hand tools are just about the only thing I'd trust a no name Chinese brand for. I'd stay clear of anything else though.
Just found outside the barn been big fan of polebarn garage but like the nut and bolt checker is $40 now..damn lol
Temu … better than Vegemite!
Tastes better and that's a fact
I very much want you to succeed. The temu was straight evil from china bro so for everybody listening do you research
Its nice of them to sponsor you, but they will also sell your bank details, there is plenty of info on them doing that out there.
They don't have my bank details 🤷 personally I always use PayPal or something like that when dealing with online transactions
@@outsidethebarn That's a really smart thing you're doing. Also thank you for all your hard work making all those videos.
It’s no wonder you don’t know about the 10 m&m’s size, anything with the 10 m&m size on it is the one that no one can ever find
It said their business plan is to get everybody hooked on it. The low prices and that way they will be as big as amazon or bigger
Up till now, I just figured Temu was a scam from those unbelievable prices.
My Temu OBD2 scanner works better then the one I bought from Canadian Tire
Hate Temu and will not be sending ANY money their way. Nope.
Same, brother
Why?
@@Bill-j2g Because they're abusing every worker even worse than your run to the mill sweatshop
@@Bill-j2g research my dude. Lots of stuff made with child labor
China..
aye dalton you can get a cam kit off temu for like 100$ we need you to get a junkyard motor and try it please for science
Crap cheap tools suck!
GOOD cheap tools are worth their weight in gold! 😎
I didnt know they had tools. They screwed up my tshirt order, but that's a story for n another time.
Real great showcase of the socket seat, a philips head screw! Brilliant
None of these links work. Sure they take u to temu but things aren't the price they are supposed to be.
Ameristan... American and Pakistan Collaboration 🤔😅🎃😎⚡
I've been meaning to get a nut and bolt chart for a well. Might have to do a temu haul.
You remind me of my older brother. LOL Thats a good thing though
Blue valve caps tell you that your running winter air, red caps are for summer air
A hoist People are going to start thinking you are an actual mechanic! JK congrats 👍
I miss people reviewing temu tools honestly.. why are they sponsoring everyone..
in my experience temu products are crap but you do you glad you got some things you can use
200 hunder dollars is like 15 million ying yang
Can't understand why Americans are so against metric.
Now we know how COVID came to the United States ,, lmfao 😂
will she be able to tell if the wheel is actually spinning this time ?
That shit won't last 6 months.....................................................................
if you pilot hole your stepbits they last a long time. it’s the tip that wears out.
Curious on how you get a sponsorship to do this, i love to do a review
And here I am just realizing I got a credit limit increase on my card lol
Driver flashes his lights
because my electric scooter headlight is too bright
I agree a diy polebarn rebuild would be some wild content😂
Love this video differently going to buy the wretched set and the thread checker . Thank you. Have an awesome day. ❤
The "wretched" set, along with the LED headlights and rechargeable flashlight are sold out or discontinued.
Wretched tickled me a lil bit.
Is it just me or did he sound a little like Hank Hill at 8:40 lol
I've been using temu for at least 6 months and everything I've got off their is pretty good quality for
Yeah I mean it is what it is, just have to use a little common sense
Honestly it's just kinda cutting out the Walmart or Amazon middleman for buying cheap Chinese products.
@@dmacarthur5356 walmart and amazon all sell cheap chinese products.....
When r u gonna make becoming a member to this channel available??
I refuse to download the app unless they sell the EXACT same cassette tape of "Eensy Weensy Spider" that was featured in your Duct Tape Drags video. Only then will I be a loyal Temu customer...
😂😂😂😂
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 I always see prices on stuff on Temu and figure it's got to be complete junk. I respect you as a Craftsman and a mechanic and if you say it seems to be all right I believe it 👍 thanks for the review Dalton 👍✌️🇺🇲
Yeah I mean those crimpers are pretty good! Definitely just exercise a little common sense when buying ultra cheap stuff lol
Metric and standard? What is the second type then?😅 Sorry
Allot valve caps 🤦🏻♂️
You’ll be cursing the day you screwed those on when you need to inflate the tyre🤦🏻♂️
Took them off immediately
I’m curious to see what kind of quality this stuff is
Dalton I get it man. I really do. I'm sure Temu helps keep the lights on. They really are the antithesis of your philosophy on repair and quality. When you say that you'd rather install NOS parts than any of the new imported crap I completely agree with you. Temu is trying to flood the market with imported crap so that "Made in America" becomes an even more far-fetched idea than it already is.
It's cutting out the middle man if anything, same crap you can buy on Amazon or Walmart, just cheaper 🤷
You don’t actually get this shit for this prices
I know you're all about budget so this fits your channel, however these Chinese tools are really good at looking decent but breaking really fast.
would love to see an update in about a year to see which one of them is still functional.
I won't use them that much, except the crimpers maybe
I’m not sure about your definition of a “tool”. Mirror? Valve stem cap? LED lights?
Or maybe all the tools
