Make a game showing the battle for LV-426 before the Colonial marines come! They would have the colonists not knowing anything about face huggers and aliens, then they find them, then they have face huggers on two or three people. Then you have to cut off the face hugger without killing the human. THEN the aliens get loose anyway, and you have to evade and escape the aliens that are carrying off everybody else to cocoon them - THEN - you have to find the "seismic survey charges" and make improv grenades out of them, and use them to blow open the armory where "security" keeps all the guns; THEN you have to fight the aliens with one or two other bots (i mean other humans on your side not robots, but i gues they could be robots too), weld shut the doors, set up the sentry guns, and try and fight your way to the radio transmitter to send the distress signal... SOO much gameplay possibiltiy here
After having passed like a dozen dead/dying soldiers: "we are a little short on firepower guys". Bah. screw picking up one of these flamethrowers and shotguns, what is the chance we are gonna need one later eh? Damn, you gotta love good writing in a game...

If at the beginning she woke up with a facehugger on her, why are the aliens attacking her at all? She almost certainly pregnant w/ a xenomorph, and the adult ones can sense that, so wouldn't it make sense for them to just avoid her until the chestburster comes out?
Because they don't care. Losing one Little drone is irrelevant, now if it was a Queen like the one in Ripley they'd never even touch her no matter what she does.
H5 That doesn't count because Xenos are hardwired to make sure any potential Xenos are born no matter what because in their case everyone matters as they're at war and outnumbered by space marines.
This game tried to make the Xenos look deadly as possible plus half of those kills were either a xenomorph dragging someone into a vent or dragging some one in an under ground vent they did a good job with that
Even if this DLC might be better than the actual game (atleast thats the overall consensus in the comments section), it still looks totally silly compared to Aliens vs Predator 2010. The Aliens here cant climb walls, they goof around like hyperactive clowns, rather than a dangerous swarm of acid-filled monsters. Even the sounds they make feel cheap, compared to some low bass snarls the Aliens emit in AvP 2010. Not to mention the literally not existing ragdoll physics. The best portrayal of the Alien so far is of course in Alien: Isolation, but we cant compare A:I to AvP or A: CM, because it has a completely different approach to the Alien, being similar to the lone, apparently invincible menace that stalked through the Nostromo. This is totally ok and I accept that A: CM wanted to stay close to Cameron´s Aliens, but AvP did that too and did it much better.
You know if you weren't trying to interact with every computer terminal, door panel and empty wall this video would be like 20 minutes long. And you stop to chat with someone via Steam part-way through. That's some pro-level walkthrough right there.
It's like they took some elements from Isolation into this DLC. Audio logs, motion tracker, hiding in a locker, female protagonist looking for parent(s), no weapons at the start, flamethrowers, a need for stealth and quickness at the beginning, AND arming a bomb with tubes at the end with Aliens surrounding you before it explodes. Big difference here is that the Aliens aren't invulnerable and the only people who aren't willing to help are the Weyland-Yutani mooks.
I see a lot of comments about how the DLC was better than the main game. anyone else notice that the beginning had a very Isolation-y vibe to it? hiding in lockers? no weapons? sneaking around?
But let's face it, if one Xenomorph dies the whole ship is done. The bleeding of acid will eat through all the halls to the point that it breaches and that's how a Xeno can destroy an entire vessel.

The reality is most skilled players that try the multiplayer get their asses kicked by players like me so bad that it makes them hate the game. That's how good the top 10 players in this game really are. I'm talking about an average game of deathmatch with 33 kills and 3 deaths. And as far as visuals, it looks as good as any older PS3 game. The green view radar effect in multiplayer is how the xenomorphs see things by sensing them like that as they don't see with eyes. It's a way better and more realistic view of how they see everything other than that view that the AVP game had when playing as the alien.
Joe Hollywood thank you sir, you know what you're talking about. Many sore losers like to deny the fact it IS still a great game and people are still playing and loving it, myself included.
It is garbage. The story makes NO SENSE, since it is said that atmosphere processor blowing up will be the size of Nebraska right in the film. Oh but it blew upwards, BULLSHIT. Then you got Space Hobo's rescuing Hicks again BULLSHIT. It keeps going and going like that. It is garbage.

It's fucking shit.
I don't play Multiplayer, I don't play mutliplayer on any game because I HATE PLAYING WITH OTHERS. I am talking from single player and it is complete dog shit. No playing with dog shit would be more fun than this game.
Everyone involved should be fucking ashamed that they released this crap.
looks like a fun game why is everyone hating on this so much?
