I BIG MISTAKE purchased the keysight at retail price. (2 grand!) Now I wish I had gotten the Rigol. I am trying to sell the Keysight and can't get any offers above $500. BUMMER! The 12 bit resolution DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE! The keysight you have to press the stop button to get a sharp trace while the Rigol gives an equivalent sharpness in real time. The digital readout on the Keysight is almost useless in realtime because the numbers constantly jump around.
I have looked at he the used scope market. It's interesting, I think the used market for say Keysight, R&S, LeCroy etc. is fairly small, at least privately as most hobbyists cannot justify the cost and businesses that can afford it probably have closer relationships with the equipment suppliers and deal with them. I do occasionally see Siglent and Rigols come up used, but not as often as one would think.
