This young man is born to conduct an orchestra
Can’t wait for him to learn just that.
Was he?
Klaus Makela's native language is music. He understands beethoven perfectly. Wonderful performance.
What a marvelous talented conductor ! I've listened this piece so many times so far,
but this is totally different one . So brilliant
SO MUCH FEELING!!! in HIS CONDUCTING!!! Really talented!!!
The most beautifull symphony ever created ...
Estoy de acuerdo
Esmaravillosa😮
Ll
SUCH GOOD CONTROL. honestly, one of the best that I've ever heard in my life. This man's conducting skills is like...CHEF'S KISS. the temp isn't too fast, nor is it too slow. The way he makes them go SUPER quiet is amazing.
For me this is perfect. Only now, in this performance and interpretation this music showed its real depth.
One big WOW
This young fellow, sorry MAESTRO soon will lead list of the WORLD'S BEST CONDUCTORS !!!
There is Russian saying: " Шляпы долой господа, перед вами гений ! " It read in English: " Hats away gentlemen, in front of you a genius ! "
Finalmente il tempo maravvilloso!!! Finalmente!!!!!! Bravo...musica pura...bravissimo
I just listened to Carlos Kleiber and Furtwangler in this alegretto. Mäkelä's recording, apart from its obvious technical superiority, more than measures up to two of the greatest conductors for this work. Hats off.
Gives me chills everytime
Taking breath away fans ❤🎉❤
Like this tempo👍
Great communication with the orchestra. Beautifully calculated dynamics. Timeless.
Tempo is allways something relative. He makes it work so tempo is right.
This is a pleasantly unique interpretation. Love the gradual swell in dynamics from entrance to finish. Love that various instruments take prominent voicing over others in spots. Very well executed. Maestro is quite impressive!
Tha t beethoven is good, isn't he...almost as if he wrote those dynamics.
My laptop is trembling with the genius of this work. After having memorized every bit of this piece by heart across my lifetime, it is so marvelous to hear a new improved interpretation. Thank you for the high quality recording and sharing your gift with the world. BRAVO.
At such a young age, Klaus Måkelå danse la Musique.
Completely inspired and in total focus.
Oh ce que c'est beau a voir.
Il faisait chaud ce jour la.
on s'en balec de ta vie
Momento sublime...bravo Klaus Mäkelä...genio

Magical❤
The best.
Gilaaakkk sih. Masih muda coyyyy. Pinter ganteng pulakkk. Love from your fantastic fans
Someday he and Korean Im Yun Chan will unfold a new chapter of music history! ^^*
Even a dumb could open his heart! ❤️
Nice tempo
The classical music world should not go this way. For young people in their 20s, now is the time to study music, not pretend to be a genius and imitate a master. This is nothing more than genius marketing in the performance business. Composers who create music can be geniuses, but how do performers who receive and play the scores become geniuses?
If start too fast there is now where to go, and come back to.
RIP Philippe Aiche

Shame on you medici for succumbing to the mob and taking down your James Levine video
For Beethoven, Makela needs to study more for expressions holding emotions outside and need tempo for normal. I love this young conductor and have great hope for him to save classical music. He is real genius and let's wait for a few years until he mastered Mozart - Beethoven - Schubert - Schumann - Brahms - Bruckner - then modern classical music. His Schosta 7 was amazed indeed.
No form, dull, vague, the orchestra is unsynchronised
It bit too slow to my taste.. interesting conductor but has to learn a great deal more....
What is he trying to do, actually? If he admires period-instrument aesthetics, he'd better work in that area. Imposing some principles of the period-instrument approach as an overall 'gold standard' for orchestral performance nowadays is the most horrible thing that could happen to Classical music other than Baroque.
l'Orchestre de Paris toujours aussi médiocre...
