Im not really into period drama type of stuff, but Sleepless had me engaged from the first issue to the last. It's a real special comic that I've only got to read digitally, but really hope I can get a physical edition someday. Agreed that I'm also left wanting more! I don't know what direction a sequel could take, but I would be happy to revisit the world again if there's ever a chance. An animated movie or miniseries would be the best type of adaptation, I do think the designs would translate beautifully in motion with the right team (and conditions) so now that you mentioned it I can't stop thinking about it.
come on sound design! the intro had me _immersed_ i also remember the hype for Sleepless on tumblr, but never got around to reading it - that still star-crossed sting was tew fresh. i love the idea of adapting this comic into a 2.5D animated series if for no other reason to expand the story i now know three things about 😇 safe to say you've successfully convinced me to find a copy of the two volumes.

Arcane animation style would really work well for Sleepless. Glad I convinced you to reading it, it's a short read and you can get through all in 1 afternoon
Hi! This video is excellent and im going to check out sleepless now, its right up my alley. I don't tend to read a lot of graphic novels but i recently read "the magic fish" which i think you would really enjoy. It's about a vietnamese mom and her son reading fairy tales to learn english and also communicate with each other. I don't want to spoil too much so i'll keep my explanation short. You would love the art style, and there is a retelling of cinderella with beautiful ball gowns so i think you would really enjoy it. Awesome video and hope you have a good day!
Omg Sleepless is soooo good ❤️ I mostly read superhero stuff but I love a good romance comic 🥰 webtoon’s Heirs game is a really good one!! It’s ending soon and alas I will be dead inside until I find another good romance 😭😔
aishyo, just coming back to watch this video again and tell you that i checked out both volumes of sleepless from my library and read them in one sitting. the story was compelling and the lore and worldbuilding was excellent. and gosh the romance, the longing looks, and the first kiss were all amazing. i would love to get a third volume if it is possible because, like you said while all the plot lines are tied in a satisfying way, it feels like there is still so much more to discover. thanks for making an awesome video and introducing this amazing graphic novel to your audience!

Thanks I was trying something new, motion comics inspired the intro a lot. Sure you can find 2nd hand copies of the TPB floating around Somewhere.
Animation is probably the best way to avoid colouism in casting. Cyrenic kinda reminds me of Avan Jogia
