*If interested, the following is why their daughter is incarcerated...*
I Copied from the newspaper while waiting for the next episode.
A Boise couple is facing felony charges after a Meridian car crash led police to discover large quantities of heroin and methamphetamine inside the wrecked vehicles.
*Kade Moore, 22, and Kathryn Priest were arrested after the crash, which happened at 6:20 p.m. on Ten Mile Road near Park Creek Drive.*
Police say Priest was driving north in a Subaru Forester when she rear-ended a silver BMW driven by her boyfriend, Moore. The crash caused the Subaru to roll, coming to rest on its roof.
At first, Meridian Police investigated the wreck as a possible DUI. But when the Ada County Sheriff's Office used a K9 to sniff around the vehicles, the dog alerted on both cars.
Inside the flipped Subaru, officers found a black safe containing approximately one pound of heroin. The BMW also contained a safe, inside which was about six ounces of methamphetamine.
Both Priest and Moore face felony charges of drug trafficking in heroin, drug trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Priest was also charged with possession of marijuana and inattentive driving.
*The heroin charge carries a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 15 years, while the methamphetamine charge carries a three-year mandatory minimum.*

I know exactly what happen. She went with that lawyer (it was cheaper options) because she went with the “ohhh he’s expensive so he must be good” or was referred by the mom rich parents friends. They were in that office and the lawyer explained everything and said it’s gonna be 10,000 dollars. Ex husband gave a look and lawyer said I’ll give y’all min to discuss (which he would’ve anyways). The ex husband said I can pay 5000 and I’m sure the ex wife immediately said “I’ll get my half from my parents.” Before even asking them first but they’ve been taking care of her so I’m sure he believed that and when the lawyer came back in they said let’s do it. Cause I’m that moment you just wanna get your child out you’re not thinking about every detail. I’m sure she went to her parents and the dad was like whoa this where we draw the line. So then the ex wife had to go back to the ex husband in like panic mode and was like my dad said he’ll loan you the money but it has to get paid back so I’ll pay you 500/month. If I have to get a job I’ll do that etc etc. So the ex husband doing it for his daughter swallowed his pride and asked. It’s clear he didn’t have the full 10,000 in cash because 4,000 he had to put in a credit card. It’s unfair she gets off easy and her parents should be ashamed of themselves for wanting that 5,000 back. It’s their daughter your grandchild and you been taking care of your daughter this whole time but it’s on the dad to fit the bill because your daughter hasn’t worked in 11 years. This shouldn’t even had made it to court.

Mrs. Judy should not be allowed to call herself a judge in any sense. She argued that bringing a lawsuit is only allowed, or makes sense (whatever her argument was), unless the defendant had the ability to pay. That is ridiculous, and it has no basis in law. It's schoolyard justice at best.
People get sued ALL THE TIME regardless of whether they have money.
