The daughter was a first time offender and got a private attorney and didn’t use court appointed. For the daughter to get jail time after all that, she had to of done something pretty horrible.
The lady is desperately tryin to save face. Hilarious.
The defendant hasn't worked in 11 years and leeching off her parents! what a mooch!
Great parents really took care of there daughter Gid bless them
I don’t agree with the mom! She needs to get a job! She should be ashamed to live taking advantage of her parents.
11 years!? You aren't even trying at that point
You can only be a bum if someone else finances it. I think JJ got this wring. She should be held accountable. They are not married anymore.
Slightly surprised the guy didn’t win
My previous statement is confirmed she is a deadbeat
“Well that’s a shoulda, woulda, coulda.”
😂😂😂😂❤
She's always had her poor parenting parents as her backup.. They are obviously the biggest problem..go out and WORK.!!
Judge Judy is very beautiful and intelligent
She is a pitiful mother. If he was about to sell his boat and motorcycle, she should have been willing to get a job to help pay this debt. Smh
Why is she not working. She is messy and lazy. She needs to find a job.
I dont understand this type of case. Their daughter is an adult and should worry about the lawyer fees. I dont get why JJ is helping them solve this case when it should be between the parents.
Im siding with plantiff if the child is a minor but the fact that everyone is involved is infuriating
Judge Judy ought to be ashamed of herself for her behavior on this case
Usually judge, would be all on the persons behind if they are not working, but for some reason she’s taking it easy on her why!
The parents have no clue of what’s right or wrong. Buying the ex husband is right taking care of a grown woman is wrong
Why does she even care? The show pays for the verdict!
Sometimes JJ thinks everyone goes "by the book" especially, when they're not rich or have money to spare.
I completely believe this useless woman said; "please get her a lawyer and I'll make sure you get paid back".
Not everyone went to law school.
@onetimes1 That is more than obvious.
What a good man! That lady is so disappointing
4:23 ""let's not... I don't like to go into tributaries" -JJ
Mrs. Judy should not be allowed to call herself a judge in any sense. She argued that bringing a lawsuit is only allowed, or makes sense (whatever her argument was), unless the defendant had the ability to pay. That is ridiculous, and it has no basis in law. It's schoolyard justice at best.
People get sued ALL THE TIME regardless of whether they have money.
OK let's see how this is going to turn out..... 😮
Shout out to that dad!! He cares and does anything he can he just WANTS help from the mother to CARE to DO something not just him or her parents!! Grow up mom!!!!!
This is so wrong in so many levels. What an entitled old lady!
You're wrong on this one JJ!
The way she looked at him like, how dare you expect me to repay you! Smh BUMB!
I would be ashamed of myself if I chose not to work and let my elderly parents support me for 11 years.
She looks perfectly capable!
Get a job women!
Judy is dropping the ball. Anyone else not working she would be screaming at them. 😡
Judy had this wrong. He had a 100% expectation of getting the money back from her - with her getting the money from daddy.
Why isn’t she working…FREELOADER
People should stop judging the woman. Families can be messy and we're not entitled to her business.
Yes we are she’s on national tv
Thank you judge Judy
Why the heck hasn’t she been working? The I can’t find a job excuse is a bunch of BS. There are plenty of jobs if you want to work. Or maybe she thinks working is beneath her. The fact that her parents support her is only enabling her.
11 years is wild to me! Her parents are even wilder for allowing her to just milk them like that..😮💨😮💨
Mom needs to get a job and pay dad back!
No way when I’m retired I will be supporting my old daughter! 😂
Go get a job!
I would of told that grandfather to take it out his daughters allowance
wht the hell has this seemingly intelligent personable woman not working all 11 years, very weird
this woman has no problem letting her parents take care of her financially for 11 years but she doesn’t wanna be responsible for her own kid.
that’s what happens when you raise your child to be spoiled and entitled.
And still right to the end the DEADBEAT mother who has sat on her @$$ for 11 years living off her parents (enabled by her parents), who was the one who insisted her daughter needed the expansive lawyer refuses to take any responsibility for the debt. What a piece of shhh-work!!!
No one should have paid anything for the daughter.
I'm glad JJ gave it to the lazy, entitled, mooching defendant. How rude is she?!
So she Should get a J.O.B. and pay her half of Her daughter's legal bill.
She needs to get her a JOB
How are you jobless for 11 yrs?
A four part, very rare thing!
11 years as a parasite! Dang that is a new low!
Defendant is an absolute embarrassment.
That lady is trifling.
That defendant’s face screams alcohol.
Judge Judy is wrong because the woman herself said that from the very beginning that everything between them was 50/50 she said that herself so why wouldn't taking care of the dogs legal expenses be 50/50 also?
I feel bad for the father he has to go through all this pain and suffering and the mom looks like she’s on drugs that’s why she hasn’t been working for 11 years and I think that her daughter has been supplying her drugs look how she talking and she’s all jittery
The judge should be yelling at the freeloader defendant living off her parents so long.
The Defendant seems as if she has an addiction of some sort.
Defendant is such a poser.
