Excuse me, i wanna ask you about response spectrum analysis in MIDAS Civil. I have defined the response spectrum function and determined the eigenvalue analysis, but when I run the model there was a notification said that the midas job will be terminated, what should I do then? and how to define the number of existing masses in the model? because it seems there were errors in them. Thank you for your answer
I'm appalled by the lackluster of any sort of QA before uploading such training videos on UA-cam. I was able to pick up at least one error in every sentence he spoke and his pushover model was incorrect. You don't assume plastic hinges to form throughout the length of the column rather at discrete places nor was the usage of important words like 'curvature', 'ultimate strain limits', 'over-strength capacity, 'capacity design', etc. I've been a Midas Civil user for the past 2 years and this isn't new to me. When engineers & software developers put their heart & soul into their designs and then comes an amateur to ruin the night.

Can you share the slides and models?
is this same step for suspension and cable stage bridges ?
