I had LASIK surgery 11 almost 12 years ago and like you I was almost blind before and I would 1000% recommend it. I still have perfect vision to this day and I’m now 40. It’s a very quick procedure. Took about 15 minutes for the surgery and the recovery is very quick. it’s such a relief to not have to worry about glasses or contacts when working out, waking up in the morning, traveling, etc. Totally worth it in my experience.
I got LASIK done in 2018 and to this day it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. The only down side I’ve experienced is chronic dry eye which is common, but I apply a few eye drops as soon as I wake up and before I go to bed and I’m good. I highly recommend it.
YES to Lasik!!!!! My husband has it done in FL when we lived in Tampa 20 years ago and then had it done again in NC about 5 years ago. Since then I had it done, my 3 sons, and my daughter-in-law!! In NC we paid 5k each after an insurance discount we paid 4250 each, using our FSA/HSA accounts to fund it. None of us had any bad side effects and all have said they recommend it and are so happy they did it!!!!!
My husband and sister got lasik. Both say they get extremely dry eyes and halos from time to time. My sister regretted hers for a while because she is a dentist and dry eye was really affecting her work but since has gotten better. My husband doesn’t regret his. Hope that’s helps! ❤
ive never personally met an ophthalmologist/optometrist who has gotten lasik themselves and i feel like that says a lot. it’s one of those things that relatively “standard” but if it goes wrong, your vision could be gone & im not willing to take that risk.
I was -4.75 in both eyes and lasik CHANGED MY LIFE. So quick. Had it done, went to bed, woke up and could see details on road signs and every leaf on the trees!!
Try ortho k if you are on the fence about lasik, it’s a hard contact you sleep in! I use them because im also on the fence about lasik. It took my eyes from -6.0 to a -1.0 so i can still get lasik if i want to but im really happy with where my sight is for now
I had similar vision to you and had LASIK 6 years ago. For the past year, I’ve had to wear glasses while driving again (to see street signs). I feel like my vision is slowly getting worse. My vision was stable for years before my surgery so who knows! Still happy I did it but not sure I’d do it again if it’ll only last 6 years again 🤷🏻♀️ eyes are a bit dryer now too
I got LASIKS 3 years ago! My only regret is not doing it sooner. My eye dr told me for years to do it before I finally pulled the trigger. I started wearing glasses in 3rd grade and contacts in 6th. I was 35 when I got LASIKS so the money I had spent on glasses and contacts over the years was insane. It is so so worth it!!! I do have to use eye drops now bc my eyes get dry easily, but mine were dry before surgery. But yes, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Just being able to open my eyes in the morning and having clear vision has been amazing! Get the surgery! 😁
Highly recommend LASIK! I had it done in 2005. My eyes were -3.50 pre-surgery. The surgery took a total of 20 min. Each eye prep was about 9 min. The actual laser part was literally 30 seconds each eye. I have had 20/20 vision ever since. Best money ever spent.
Yes lasik is 10000% worth it. Everyone I know that’s gotten it, loves it. I’m currently waiting for my vision to stop changing every year so that my doctor will let me get it !
I had horrible vision and got LASIK almost 10 years ago and it was DEFINITELY worth it. My eyes were so bad I actually had PRK, which is an older version of LASIK, but it still was a very short procedure. My recovery was rough for a couple days, but not so bad I wouldn’t do it again. My vision is still very good.
Out of everyone I know that’s had LASIK only one is happy with it and he only had it two years ago. My mom now has to have special glass contacts made after her lasik. Was great for 3 years and then tanked. I wouldn’t mess with my eyes. Once they’re done, they’re done. Adding: I wear contacts and I find it a pain, but I know they work and my eyeballs are in tact.
I got lasik back in 2014. Vision is great still but very dry eyes mainly when I use computers. I have headaches due to computer dry eyes. Trying everything under the sun to try to help but no luck yet. Any suggestions??
I got lasik and it costed me about $3,200 (that was two years ago, so price should be close if not $3500 if more you’re getting ripped off) for reference I’m in rdu area nc and the surgery itself is super quick, but it was a lot of waiting time to be seen for me. Post recovery wasn’t too bad initially a lot of pain but you can take meds. I couldn’t drive without my glasses or contacts I felt blind as a bat before hand. I totally thought it was worth it, I usually got the 2 week contacts and sometimes the one a day ones as well. It was a no brainer wish I had done it sooner
I went to get LASIK earlier this year and they said I wasn't a candidate because one area of my cornea was thin due to eye rubbing with your knuckles. I'm -4.5 and they said the only other option is ICL.
I got LASIK done in 2021 and it was the BEST decision ever I waited so long cause I was scared and because of the cost. Once I was able to get on an FSA plan at work I finally pulled the trigger I never had seen as clearly. No eyeglasses or contact lenses let me see so well It's super quick, 0 pain, recovery time is very quick too Only problem I had was adjusting to my new sight. For about a week I found myself bumping into things alot cause the new depth perception took some adjusting to I've heard of people taking eye therapy to help with that Would recommend LASIK 10000%
Yes to LASIK! I did it 10 years ago and no regrets! Just do it at the best place you can afford. I did it where athletes (maybe celebs, too) go to do it, and it was worth the cost. Easy recovery. That and laser hair removal have been so worth it.
$800 for contacts for a year!! My jaw nearly hit the floor! If I use contacts, I get them for £30 a month, these are daily ones! Granted I hate contacts, only wear very occasionally, I'm negative 4.00 and 4.25 so not far off your prescription. Personally I wouldn't mess around with lazik, not enough research, plus you need to do it every few years as your eyes eventually go back to how they were. Xx
I'm late, but I'm afraid to get LASIK. We only get 1 pair of eyes. If things go wrong, I'll deal with the consequences for the rest of my life. I'd rather deal with glasses/ contacts. My prescription is -1.25 LE and -4.25 RE.
I’m not sure about this but I’ve heard you’re supposed to wait until you’re done with pregnancy. Like wait until you’re maybe done with having babies. But I could be wrong. Seems like you’re super happy about moving back to Dallas. Happy for you! And of course I too love the jergens shower tanning lotion! Very little streaking. And your hair looks great!

I’d love an update morning and night skincare routine!
I had lasik surgery in 2005 and have still 20/20 vision. However, due to aging I do need readers. Best decision I made and totally worth it.

HIGHLY recommend Lasik or even PRK. I had PRK surgery two years ago and it was the best money I have ever spent!

I’m not a good candidate for LASIK but I’ve always been curious! My prescription is -9.5 and -7 something 😂
I had terrible vision my entire life and lasik wasn’t ideal so I ended up getting ICL surgery and it was truly life changing.

that brand, i believe, microingredients, is among my top 5 brand of supplements
I am planning on getting laser eye surgery at some point, just need to bite the bullet and suck up the cost xx

I had lasik over 15 years ago and now need bifocals. It was good while it lasted but once I hit 40 it was downhill from there.

My husband had Lasik about 14 years ago and he now requires glasses.
Is there a vlog channel?

I don't see the link for the js health hair and libido. Is it discontinued?

Fun tip: if I end up not liking a product, it’s downgraded to use on my arms so that it’s not wasted. Obviously if you’re allergic do not do this😂
At around 10:55, you went on and on about the product without saying what it was.
