I was a fairly bright red for 10 years (soon going back), and while the maintenance struggle is real, you will never look back once you use a colour conditioner/semi perm toner ❤

I’ve been using the revlon colour balls for years. They’re awesome. If you’re scared you can mix it with a regular mask to cut the potency. There’s also Celeb Lux Gemlites shampoos and conditioners that are amaaaazzzinnggg. The Amber colour would probably work well for you

I really like the keracolor clenditioner color depositing conditioner. It’s amazing and works after 1 use. It’s super healthy for the hair and I’ve not had to color my hair in years. I actually used to use semi colors and this is like the best of both worlds. High pigment with no damage

Oh, also, I’m the same way with body washes in terms of liking spa like scents for body wash. My current fav from Native is Eucalyptus and Mint! Just try it out, promise.

The Bobbi Brown cleansing oil did the same. My eyes fogged up! But it was so pricey that still use it sometimes
I recommend find a direct dye that closely matches your hair color and mix some of it in your hair mask. For a monthly treatment. Just more cost effective and you have more control over color and intensity.

I always colour my hair but my hair is bleached, I love the purology strength cure line. Amika is also another shampoo i like for coloured hair, especially the bond kure line and also the hydration line

Best liquid makeup remover i absolutely love and holy grail are : Garnier the blue top and the Clinique purple bottle. Those work great for my eye makeup and is great also for waterproof makeup as well. Have you tried those?

I wanna try the kerasilk balm! It sounds like it serves the same purpose as my IGK mistress hydrating hair balm. I LOVE that, have repurchased so many times (I have long thick wavy hair).
Also a hair mask in a huge tub like that takes up SO MUCH SPACE lol

There are so many variations of red that I wouldn’t use anything that deposits color because it will never match

I dye my hair red too and I love the Redken color magnetics shampoo. The pink bottle. It smells good, very hydrating and doesn’t strip my color. My red stays vibrant for a long time. And I also love the Amika soulfood mask instead of conditioner.

As a fellow red head (by choice 😂), I’ve used a lot of them, my favorite has been the Christophe Robin shade variation in chestnut. It looks hella dark in the tub, but deposits a beautiful warm coppery color and is a very nourishing mask in itself.
Writing that one down!!
CHI Color Illuminate conditioner in Red Auburn is also great! Stains like crazy tho, but the result is top notch!

I have dyed red hair as well and I use the kerastase pink bottle shampoo. It’s called chroma something. I loooove and it smells amazing too
I have had balm/oil cleansers cloud my vision too and thought I was crazy cause for some reason no one talks about it. It’s so bizarre.
You should try the Davines alchemic shampoos and conditioners. Dream for colored hair and they have a lot of color options. (I have natural curls and used when I went red for a year). But, expensive. Because of course it is!

Have you tried Milkshake shampoo? It’s soooo good for color treated hair and it smells like cupcakes🤤 I like the Biolage smooth proof shampoo and conditioner, I have v frizzy, thick hair, I recommend both brands👌
I'm always surprised wnen you say the YTTP cleanser is a mild cleanser on your dry skin. In my experience even dish soap would be more gentle than this cleanser, it strips my skin so much and makes my skin feel so tight. My partner had the same experience.
you should try the naturium body wash if you haven't already! It's very lightly scented but with actual vanilla. It's very moisturizing and gentle.

Wella color fresh mask is also great for red hair. I use copper glow. Sometimes I will mix it with a regular mask and even that works great.
