you'll also need Visual C++. just get all of them they are very handy to have.
Before you download anything though, go to configuration in windows and check in the applications list to see wich versions you have so you don't download those again.
Make sure to get both x64 and x86 versions.
to get them, type in google visual c++ 2005 and go to the microsoft link. Start from there and go all the way to 2015
you have all that? great. Follow this link, download it, extract it's content and check the video in how to extract the textures for SKIRT and SITAGI

@@Pittre yes, ppex is the current version but I got no help when I tried to do a working repack so I decided to instead update this version on my own. The difference I dont know since I could not get to run ppex on my machine at all. If you want that version you should go to the English AA2 discord... As for the custom hair assets sorry Im not a modder so I cant help there. The best I can do is keep this version going since i know im not the only one that likes this version better

I'm having issues with modding. My male card character I inserted has black eyes/lines on and around his eyes. No idea what could be causing this as I have pp2 loader enabled and my mods in the data folder should be working...
I know this may be a silly question but is there a way to fix majority of the male faces..? most don't work for some odd reason and I don't know how to fix it
There was no texture file after i hardlinked? the game works fine, but i didn't read anywhere that the second part of the guide isn't needed anymore.

Hello, I loveee the repack and aaalmost everything about it so if it's not a problem and if I'm not taking too much of your time, I gotta ask if there's a way to revert to the original UI >~< I like the menu and all but in game it makes it look monotone and I liked the colorful way it was before. Yes there is. go to your installation folder, go to data/sets and edit the name of !ui_windows_10 ; remove the ! from the name and hit enter. enter the game again and you should see the classic UI once again.

So I got this to work on Vanilla, but took sometime and alot of mod installing, but I had one issue that was annoying. Crashing when asking to skip class to the infirmary. I would fall asleep then crash. So im hoping this Mini will fix that. I seen on AA2U it was fixed, but no it still crashes.

Oh it works very well. Could finally play it. EXCEPT... the face textures aren't working and everybody's looking like aliens (transparent scleras no eyebrows). Some face textures appear but they're all colored in cyan so I can't edit much. Some hair extensions only show up in the AA2Edit and don't appear at all in the game. Takes me off a bit when the character suddenly talks to me and I see their empty alien eyes.
But then again I'm playing in a Windows 7. Could it be that? I had the necessary DirectX and C++ and everything. Maybe I'll try installing the longer way around to see if graphical issue is alleviated. Wish I could join discord to explain myself better but I can't speak spanish, sadly.
I'm getting the same issue, but only for a card that I added in. I'm on windows 10. I think it's a missing mod, but I have no idea what mod that would be, or how to even add mods

thanks for this repack! was having issues w my own install but im currently having two main issues (third being no subs but i think thats a ui thing?) so im hoping you'll be able to help out.
first and my biggest issue being no control over the H scenes, im not sure why but the game wont let me take control in consensual H scenes so idk if the H Ai is bugging out.
secondly no double dildo in lesbian H scenes. my old install had it so im assuming its probably linked to the uncensor mods? im not entirely sure though, i used a different uncensor from HEXA so it may have been that but ill have to experiment.

@@teddy3081 tbh im not sure what could be causing those issues if its a direct download from the link provided, there is also a second link provided in the comments thats a more recent version which is what im using. maybe make sure you got directx9 and whatever else was recommended in the vid because that sounds like a graphical issue. also try reinstalling the files, or maybe i could upload my own if all else fails? rlly not sure what to tell u but i hope you find a solution soon. is it only in the editor and not the the game?

Hello maybe it's a dummy question but what is the difference between the AA2 classic and the AA2 mini ? ( Except the fact that is seems to be much easier to install AA2 Mini)
the old one takes up 50gb of space, could be more stable* (depends on your machine) has limited mod upgrades, mods can be implemented in a number of ways. The mini takes 3gb (vanilla) and the fully moded takes about 11gb. Could crash sometines (depends on your machine) it's futureproof as mods keep being updated, and can only take .PP2 mods.

So I downloaded the version with the 3D rooms, but I have no idea how to get the rooms to show up. On my old version of the game, all I had to press was 8, but that doesn't seem to work here. I don't know if you still check these comments, but I'd really appreciate some help.
you need to toggle on the "Show 3D objects" on the f1 menu

@Soortes hello idk if you will respond to my comment. But I was wondering can you make another AA2 repack but a ppx compatible version? I used harderlinker before and I followed a tutorial by looking at image guide on TOT's patreon but now all textures options dont show up in game. Do I have to install AAU ppx version all over again?
TBH that was in the cards at one point but for unknown reasons, PPEx does not work in my computer. At all. ive tried multiple times to do the install from the AA2E server but it's no use. I guess its not compatible with dumb enough people like me... so im stuck with the PP2 version.

yep. just go to your install folder and go to data/sets. find the !ui_windows10 folder and change it's name; simple remove the ! icon and save. all done, you now have the original UI

Hey I’m getting random crashes in the game during H scenes, any idea how to fix this? :(

that one is the best i found, but still, the game crashes when some event occour, like when my character is talking to someone andthen got interrupted by someone that likes said character, then game crashes. dunno if it's something todo with any mod, but it's kinda annoying that my game have this stall and i can't pass the day because of this crash

@@corbincc7524 turns out to me it's the texture pack causing the crashes. try instaling this game without the texture mods and see if it works for you

Hi its me again. i know iwas due to have a new video on this like yesterday... hold on, 3 months you say? well... it do be like that sometimes, sorry about that. In any case it is still on my "to do" list so you can expect it to be up at some point, just be patient please i am not a prolific worker. Also, if you have problems running Harder_linker, note that you have to do so normally (not using admin mode!) or else it wont work. Ok i'll go back to my duties then; take care.
Hello, thanks for the great repack!! But I've encountered a problem in the updated version, in the texture folder there was no "skirt" and "sitagi" rar files, and the "textures" folder is nowhere to be found, instead there's a folder named "harderlinker" which insides are the folder of sitagi and skirt (bunny_suit, underwear_china, etc). After that I launch the hardlinker normally (just double click/open, not run w/ administrator) but at the cmd i noticed some access denied and couldn't find some stuff etc, and because theres no rar files and the textures folder I could't proceed to follow the next extract instruction. Is there anything wrong I did or things to do to fix this? Any answer would help a lot I'd appreciate to hear, once again thank you!!

@@novalriff6302 I've checked both mediafire and gdrive versions, mediafire has a minor issue as in it doesn't come with Win10Fix enabled by default resulting in severe FPS drops upon launching. Gdrive version is working as intended. As a general note to anyone watching, please note that this version of the linker works differently and does not need any aditional folders to be placed. harder_linker should be run normally as running it as administrator could cause folder shorctus to be placed in the system folders. I've confirmed that it works on my end (though I don't have another system to double check) and will try to get the mediafire version fixed by the time the video is up.

this version accepts PP2 mod files only, so any older file that uses aa2install or anything like that is not gonna work here no matter what.that being said, PP2 files are drag and drop so they are much easier to install, you just drop them in the data folder of the game
@@joyc7418 i think there is a way, although I don't know how and I also send a file to a guy that knew how and when converted to pp2 the file didn't work...
this was a whole three years ago but ive recently downloaded the game and have ran through it a couple times trying mostly everything including reinstall but i unfortunately had to downgrade back to miniv13. Ive had no issues running the game or editing any chars but there was a couple times where voice lines werent there but didnt faze me much what did however was around after first class and the lesson fade to black it would consistently crash and i have no real idea whats wrong with it due to the fact ive had no issues on the vanilla so im assuming if any mod may be the cause of this ive also had a moment on install where hard linker closed on randomly while going through the scripting process could this be related to the crashes .
note nvm ig it was an internal game problem as a new game with defaults seems too work

How do I change ui?
Alright, I know it's unlikely that I'll get a response, but imma try anyways. So I downloaded this pack, and it's generally very good, I like it a lot. But the only big issue I have is that ahegao doesn't work the same way it did in vanilla. Like, tongues only stick out at a certain point in the climax animation, instead of the girl being stuck in that state until you change what type of action you're doing. So does anyone know what mod is responsible of how (if possible) I can disable it?
Im not 100% sure but i think this is becouse of the JMCP_v20. you can erase the mod from your pp2 files to make it vanilla and have the effect back, but changing the mod itself as far as i know is not possible

this one uses less space, has more mods, it's more up to date and uses pp2 files for mods

how do I update the AA2unlimited to a recent version?
download the latest version of unlimited, open the .rar file, grab the folder inside and drop it on the carpet with the same name on you install folder, say yes to override all and you are good to go.
does it have the uncensorship modes?
Im not really sure what you mean, this comes with the uncensor mod but some clothing modes have issues displaying genitalia wich is solved by setting the character naked. Other than that I really don't know what could be uncensored

Hi Soortes, I don't know if you will ever read this but I have a serious problem with exporting the file, it basically prevents me from completing the operation due to a 21 hexaoc v46.pp2 file, reading the comments I noticed that you have already responded which is not present in the collection but is located in the data folder, I wanted to ask you if there is a way to resolve it (I am using the most recent version installed by mediafire) sorry for the inconvenience.

mmm, 8.1 is very problematic as an OS, and actually the reasson i moved to win10 instead. As far as i remember, the d3d9 file *should* work on win 8.1 but i strongly recommend switching to *win10fix* in the script tab on the launcher. *remember you can only have active *wined3d* or *win10fix* at the time, not both! that will keep your game crashing

Again with some notes. Please note that the *mediafire* version doesn't have WIN10FIX enabled by default so you'll have to set it manually before opening the game. Also DO NOT open harder_linker as administrator as it could create folders in system32 (I can't tell for sure if this happens but better not risk it). If you open the linker normally and some errors appear on screen this is to be expected; check in game and you'll see that the textures are there. i downloaded your latest AA2, how do you get back the voicelines during the H-scenes?
i downloaded this version a couple of times but i always get the 0xc000007b error, and its only with the AA2Play.exe and AA2Edit.exe applications...any idea on how to fix this? I got it to work before but I've been struggling for the past 5 months now since the end of august.. I tested other applications and none of them had this error, I also have DirectX9 installed and tried recent versions as well, same case with Visual C++. If you can come up with anything, it'd be highly appreciated since my windows version isn't outdated either. ^_^

yeah that is bound to happen on some pcs. You should change the rendering mode and see if that fixes the crashes; if wined3d doesn't work try win10fix, go to settings and set it to voodoo mode. If the crashes continues it probably is some mods conflicting somehow

I have a problem. Meanwhile I play like for least than 5 minutes my game crash with this error: Code: 0xC0000005
Address: 0x00CC3631 What can I do? I don't have lag and my game starts ok but I can't play even for 5 minutes without this error appearing
Ive been looking around the internet for something similar to your case but couldn't fin anything. Some claim its a RAM error, others say its a graphics driver error, and other says it's a faulty windows install. In any case it doesn't seem to be a game issue... maybe you can test that using the same install file in other pc, if it doesnt have that issue then is definitely something in your pc. Im inclined to believe it's either the driver or the ram becouse I've had similiar problems in the past and the only fix was to change the hardware... Sorry it isint much but that's what i can tell you about this

How do you fix the low FPS on windows 10? there's an option in the launcher specifically for low FPS, but it crashes every time I try launching. The game plays fine but when you interact with anyone it's very laggy
the launcher has two options on the scripts tab, *wined3d* and *win10fix* you need to make sure just one of those are active at any given time, if not is gonna keep crashing. As for what works better of those two it really depends on your machine... if you still have issues thou i suggest you get help from the discord comunity. I have some people on mine that can help as well but the AA2 community discord has far more experienced users. I hope you can fix your problem soon (and sorry for the late response)
@@Soortes Thanks for responding, I found out that if you select win10fix and go to settings, then change to dgVoodoo it fixes the FPS lag and also the crashes.

so for the visual c++, do I have to look up every year from 05 to 15?
i think the basics are 2005, 2008 and 2012. but As I stated, better have them all than having to backtrack for others. Also worth mentioning some years are just revisions of previous versions. I would go for 05, 08, 10, 12 and 2015 in x86 and x64 depending on your system

I tried for 2 days to install the game the old way, and found a portable one, and a torrent, all different install instructions, all complete bullshit, and then I discovered there's a Mini. Then I see a link to a modded Mini, and it took me a few blinks of an eye and like 3 heartbeats to get the game to work, after days of seeing errors from severely long install instructions.
K, now do that for Custom Maid 3D 2 with its 10 thousand mods pls ty. ^ , ^ 💙

I have't use that mod so I couldn't tell you. But it should be possible as long as it doens't require specific mods to work, in that case you should follow Goat's tutorial for installing the game to choose the mods you need acordingly
