Well, you sold me on the AT4. Bought an onyx black AT4 with the 6.2l gm Performance Cold Air Intake and axel back exhaust. This truck is a BEAST and everyone loves it.
It’s a 6 inch lift with a 3 inch body lift if anything. They don’t make a 6 inch kit for the trail boss and AT4 that “goes on top” of the factory lift. They make a 6 inch lift for those trucks but it doesn’t add to the stock lift. They take out all of the factory 2 inch lift components out to install a full 6 inch. Plus when you popped the hood you can tell it’s got a body lift because everything in the engine bay is well below where it should be. I have a 2019 RTS with a true rough country 6 inch kit in it. I spent months in early 2019 when these trucks became available researching the trail boss and at4 and the rst to find the best truck to lift. Figured it was pointless to pay the same for a 6 inch kit for a trail boss as I would for my rst considering I’d really only be gaining 4 inches in a trail boss. You seem to know more about led lights and the colours and what the badges say on the truck then what actually makes people interested in it. Like the after market parts that make stand out.
I drive a new Yukon Denali and Escalade platinum, and honestly aside from the small screen, and chrome knobs, feel like the 2020 Sierra Denali and AT4 are every bit as nice. My biggest complaint is honestly the chrome on the interior - it looks awful. My ‘16 Denali and ‘18 Escalade don’t have any of that nonsense.
I like the truck very much but I think it would be way too tall to fit in my garage. I had a stock 2016 Toyota Tundra which is a large pickup truck and although it did fit in my garage I had very little room to spare and since this GMC truck is quite a bit taller than my Tundra I'm almost certain it wouldn't fit in the garage and would have to spend it's nights parked in the great outdoors. The giant size pickup trucks are fine to drive on the open highways but not much fun when trying to find a parking space in a crowded parking lot. Excellent video as always Joe!
I have a 2010 Silverado with the 6.2 and I just put an 8inch superlift with 20inch fuel moto trims with 35inch Notto Grapplers and i was worried it was gonna be a lot slower but it still gets with it.
It's always great to see customized and modified vehicles done well, and right, without looking gaudy or horrendous, or causing and problems and complications, od adverse, detrimental effects. To me, very high lift kits are great when places get flooded and such, and for those that are I to that, but normally, if I got a heavy duty off road vehicle, I would rather get it at the most heavy duty factory configuration, or not much higher. This truck is nice, af nd cool, especially the tailgate and grab handle...
@@skytyme7721 not necessarily depends on what you want to do with it but you can get a 6 inch rough country lift for 1000. The tires for 1500 and the rims for 1500 so youre paying 10-12k more than base price for 3500k worth of parts you can do for half the price. Although the lift is under warrenty from the dealer
The GMC looks so much better than the Silverado. I agree about the touchscreen. It looks like the same size as one in a Civic. The Ram has a full tablet sized screen. Awesome truck, but too rich for my blood!
First lifted at4 I have seen..total B. A..I would have probly went with more beastly wheels but it still looks great..like the color..and the hood design
“Monster Truck” is right. The bumper step to the bed needs its own step to get up to, and you need to be Manute Bol to put engine oil in. I bet everyone clears a path for this thing when it’s behind you on the highway.
When I bought my Silverado they said they would do just the lift for $5000 I got my lift installed new wheels and tires plus exhaust for less than that Chevy dealers are always trying to rob customers and play up what they’ve done and charge 10x up
Beautiful truck. Gorgeous. And I’m a Ford guy. I just wish they woulda ran BDS instead of RC. That kind of money, especially for the AT4, shoulda been a more capable lift to match the truck.
It's only worth what a person is willing to pay. Dealerships know certain customers will drop that kind of dough cuz they can or else those mods wouldn't be made. It's a luxury truck..
MSRP on AT4's equipped like this one before the accessories is around $67k. If you do find an AT4 for $47k please let me know I would like to buy one. Of course there is incentives on new trucks but not much on these 19's that just came out.
Love this truck Joe. I agree with your interior Zonks. I only have another 1.5 Zonks. It needs an exhaust and a foldable 4' step ladder so that I could check the oil. lol Okay, just one more comment, but not a Zonk. I think I'd like to see an Eaton Supercharger on it for maybe another 100hp and open up that fake hood vent for some additional air to reach the engine. Save the Wave.
What is sad a few years ago 50 grand could have gotten the same thing pretty much. They are milking it for everything they can...couple years it'll be 100K you watch.
Nice looking truck, but Rough Country lift kit? For that price it best have a BDS kit on it instead. One bit of a surprise is that the camera when driving was very steady...I was expecting a bit of jittery video there but it was smooth so that ride has to be surprisingly smooth with that lift size.
I really surprised you didn't add the Performance Package. Sierra AT4 Off-Road Performance Package takes the AT4’s abilities a step further. Not only does the AT4 Off-Road Performance Package include the 6.2L V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management and a ten speed automatic transmission, it also includes a specially-designed Cold Air Intake and Performance Exhaust System. Both the intake and exhaust system are designed to not only optimize performance, but also deliver an unmistakably sporty exhaust note. Thanks to these additions, the AT4 Off-Road Package delivers 435 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque - increases of 15 horsepower and 9 lb-ft of torque over a Sierra equipped with a conventional 6.2L V8 engine, and 80 horsepower and 86 lb-ft of torque over Sierra AT4 models equipped with the standard 5.3L V8.
I'm not that person yet I just recently bought a used 2015 GMC Sierra base 4 door 4.3 that already has 20in all terrian tires tool box bed cover I want all the bells and whistles hopefully here in the near future, I got mine for 17k so I think I got a good starter for now. I like convenience so when it's in my budget I would go for it like you said in the video you can do all that stuff outside but might not be happy that would be alot of time and frustrating which I actually put a price tag on lol.

Congrats man!
I bought the 2500HD not an AT4 or Denali , just gas 6.6L with chrome and wonder if I can do similar conversions? Please let me know. Thanks!
LOL
The AT4 needs an exhaust system to showcase that 6.2L.
AGREED!!!!!!
I agree
Lol I didn't even noticed the truck running
I personally think the interior looks just fine. I kind of appreciate the conservative approach to it and I think it’s pretty functional.
Nah man lol too much plastic. I mean it's subjective. But this materials could def be better.
FlashxSwazy couldn’t be more right especially for 70 grand
Muffler system was very lack luster for 70k plus price tag. Like I previously mentioned, the exterior design is so good, the interior.................

Noticed the lift is rough country. As of now they only make a 4inch lift for the at4 giving 6 total. Not 8 as you mentioned.
I appreciate you sharing your perspective and input! Thanks for watching!
Nice truck, but why they went with a strut spacer lift is questionable. Strut spacers tend to ride worse than a full strut replacement.
They probably blocked the rear too
