My truck ran great after awhile I was loosing power then it would shut off by itself I changed fuel filter and still I was about to change fuel pump but I kept checking online I wound up buying the egr valve and great news it ran like it did before it was like a 5 minute fix good luck to you
Check spark plug wires, I had #3 cylinder wire was resting on a hot part that melted insulation causing arc and slight misfire. Replaced wire, runs great
take off the air filter and put your hand over the Throttle body and try to control air flow if your experience a better running motor you have a Intek gasket vacuum leak that's what mine was doing a 1990 Nissan so you might want to check that
I have a rebuilt ka2400 for my 91 hard body just finished rebuilding it and I'm having that same problem the idol fluctuation and misses I can even feel it when I'm driving almost dies out at a stop i did everything but idk what it is might be I need a new spray bar but idk what it is anyone can give me pointers

My 1983 Nissan d21 truck has a miss then goes away . Run smooth in park but when I give it gas it runs sluggish or low power then sometimes it starts missing again. I think it’s a bad injector . Also before all this missing issues it was using a lot of gas . I order 4 new injectors hope it will fix my issue
@@brandong8623 yeah mine was the injectors. 7 years later, still going strong. I got some upgraded injectors from some guy had on ebay at the time. They supposed to be better than the stock one's but I don't really know for sure. But try changing your injectors.

I did check the usual sensors and injector wiring before spending money. Unplug your MAF Sensor, Coolant Temp sensor, and jiggle your injector wire harness at the back of your engine. If your idle changes when you jiggle the wires,,,,,,you could have a issue with the butt connector in the wire loom, to the injectors. The MAF and Coolant senor,,,,,,"Should" change the pitch of your idle,,,,,if not,,,,the sensor is bad. PS.......I pulled each plug wire while it was running and found "Only" #1 cylinder was acting up. (Clogged injector) I had already changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, and cap and rotor as well. ok.I just had a guy put a timing chain in my 94 d21 2.4.I got it back last friday and right off the bat it has great power but on the take off it miss and stutter but if I give it more pedal after 1st gear it smooth out but only when I'm giving it more pedal.If I let up on the pedal any it has that stutter and miss.but as long as I'm giving it pedal it don't miss or stutter.When it's at idle it has a putt putt.Do you have any idea what that could be?Thank you in advance

Bleed your cooling system through the top of the intake by the throttle body. The idle control sensor needs the water...

Have you checked or the EGR valve stuck open are carbon deposits blocking it

FIXED!!!! See PART 2!!!!!! Oil Pump shaft was still off a tooth!!!!!!!
Michael Cole did you get ruff idle only when it warmed up or all the time. Mine don't do it when it's cold.
