friend detectorist colleague. I do not understand English and I'm using the Google translator. the tdi read you the coin, then you covered the coin with the hot stone, he kept reading the coin. but then you did not do the test just with the hot stone to see if he reads it. The gmt I can not differentiate the coin and the stone together because the hot stone also reads it as currency. What interested me most about the video was to see if the tdi only with the hot stone reads it or does not read it
Hey the guy didn't show youall that the TDI will have little to no reaction to the hot rock by itself. This is talking serious hot rock screamer nuggets.
Suns. Sure but if ther's a nugget there you've got to kick the hot rock away. The GMT won't hear the nugget even if you try and ground balance over the top of the hot rock. We should all know the tricks but it's best if the machine does it for you. I've got a GMT and now I've also got a TDI which is streets ahead of a Garrett ATX.
@@russellk.bonney8534 I personally am a fan of the Mine Lab CTX3030 it out preforms all others when in the right hands. and is priced just right plus it goes underwater fine and uses remote headphones when needed.Even beats PI.
@@SunsTo7 Yeah my 40 yo computer whiz son got one and he's wrapped it around a few tree trunks and it still beats him. How do you find the display in the sun? The Garrett ATX has the same 'sand in the seals' issues so they do leak. I'm not for diving or I'd get a proper diving detector. I got a GMT in good nick for 600 buckas and a TDI PRO OZ for 1300. I haven't used that yet but it's supposed to be the ducks guts on the beach and gold. The Z will pip it of course. But it's got knobs thank goodness. lol.
I like the "Follow the black sand" feature. helps for drywashing too

It's a good thing to learn how to use the Whites GMT before you use it.
Pass the TDI. Over The hot rock with out The coin to see it's performance

My GMT can balance out the hot rocks.

Pointless video, we already know both machines will see the target. Run the PI over the hot rock WITHOUT the target.
