Even if you’ve been learning music by ear for a while, these apps still have something for you. The best part of using these apps is that it turns learning into a fun game!
Today I walk you through my three favorite ear training apps for improving your aural skills. Tenuto has a variety of settings so you can customize your ear training practice to your needs. My personal favorite feature is Challenge Mode, where you can set goals for yourself to try and beat your High Score. Chet has a plethora of features to focus on exactly what you need. The best part is that it uses both short, small practice exercises AND recordings of songs, so you’re training with REAL music. My favorite part of Teoría is the Harmonic Progressions for Chord Practice, where you can customize your practice to your ability level.
