@EscapeTheHold it depends what you mean by MC and eminems peak. Eminem doesn't make songs with the same feel as he used to and not much of it is great on the ears anymore for sure, but he literally just makes tracks now days to play with the English language and tear it to pieces as much as possible. Bending words, doubles, triples and even quadruple entendres and punching rhymeschemes until they're dead. Dealing has always been a monster though and very few can touch him lyrically, let alone compete with him.
It would be so easy for Ed to just move on and forget about SBTV after Jamal's passing like so many others have, but he's consistently gone out of his way to try and build the channel back up. You really understand the measure of a man by how he treats people when they're not around. He's the most successful artist in the world that's knee deep in commitments, but you can clearly tell he's invested in the idea of keeping Jamal's legacy alive for as long as possible. I wish I could say the same about Nines, Dave and all the other artists that have benefited from Jamal's work.
