the streets will never forget Jamal Edwards ❤
@@dasverse5 'will'? He died.
@@dasverse5 huh
Never
The streets were good in their day
Should've listened to Nancy.
Losing a friend is just as difficult as losing someone you are related to.
Friends are the family we get to choose for ourselves.
Sending hugs to Jamal's family, Ed Sheeran and the rest of his friends 🌟
Seeing Ed fight to try not to break into tears is highly relatable, especially when talking about a friend that died.
Last year I lost a friend, my sibling is having a medical crisis (life threatening and still not sorted) and my mental health plummeted.
I'm 19 now, my sibling is 11, I was 18 when my friend died (we had a 3 day age difference).
Life sucks.
Rhoda, what a wonderful comment. We need more ❤ in the world . I believe Ed is writing music that touches people's ❤.

@@Unknown-ov2kz 💔🥺
Ya but not to mention speaking to them four hours before
@@Unknown-ov2kz 2 of my friends (1 of which I lived with) died in a car accident when I was 21. I got PTSD from it and I suffered from dissociation, it was like being stuck in a constant dream state and it went on for months.
All I can say to you is time is a healer a very slow one but you have to learn to force out negative thoughts and focus on the good in your life. Counselling helps a lot too if you accept the help and work at it!
Sorry to hear about your sibling I hope they make a swift recovery
I’m a guitarist and remember playing a few SBTV sessions back in the day. Jamal was such a genuine guy, full of energy and light. He was 5 years younger than me 😔
His song Eyes Closed was a beautiful tribute to Jamal
You can really never say Ed sheeran forgot where he came from or who helped him along the way.
Rest in peace, Jamal Edwards. 🙏🏻
So good that Ed Sheeran talking about talking to professional about being sad and normalize the practice. In USA, it’s quite normal. Going through divorce and raising teenagers, going to talk to someone about the sadness and the frustration are so ordinary here… Ed is so graceful of sharing his experiences. Kudos!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤❤❤
Totally new to 🇬🇧 we are getting there though we used to mock it actually but it’s definitely something that helps
Jamal was and will always be a don. Miss him so much. Legend.
Ed has come a long way! Thanks for normalising the struggles associated with living in grief and going to therapy. RIP Jamal if it wasn’t for you seeing Ed none of us would be seeing him
There’s a couple of deaths of people I didn’t know that upset me and Jamel is near top of the list. I really thought I’d meet him. Inspiration
jamal and ed meeting had such a huge impact on so many lifes. it changed ed’s but he also brought him into my life soon after jamal first posted him on yt and he’s been my support ever since
So true talking to a therapist is great, don't keep things inside vent it out talk to someone, it's hard sometimes but Yes You can, You will feel better ....
You are absolutely right
I love how Ross talks about this stuff a lot. Definitely needed. And that Sheeran is open about it also.
I fucking love that man, such a pure soul
i love this man i’m proud of him
How likeable is Ed… I’d be mates with him. Legend.
The problem with the Depression I have is horrible because no matter how much I hear that other people are dealing with the same thing it doesnt make me feel any better. Sucks.
I hear you. Hope you're able to access the help you need.
Some people take solace from the fact that they aren't alone in what they are going through. For others depression is your own personal hell, and no amount of "it's not just you, look at all these other people" will help - I can understand that - I find it almost impossible to explain depression to people, all the things you feel, it's very inward facing it's like you are fully and completely focussed on it (but without any of the "positives" of being focussed - like increased mental clarity, more drive, passion - it's a weird focus but with an absence of those things) when you are *there* all you want is for it to stop and to feel some sense of "normal" - evey day you wake up hoping today will be better, you'll feel something that signals an up tick, a move towards the surface - but it never comes, the next day is the same.
When it's like that - knowing other people are going through it too doesn't help, I know that sounds selfish/without empathy - but that's not, I think what you're saying, you're saying .... Nothing makes you feel better.
I get that.
I hope you find something, anything that makes you feel better soon - because it's shit being under the weight of it all the time. I feel for you.
Jamal gave Ed the exposure he needed at the time so he should remember him, rip Jamal
I love this amazing positive interview about mental health and therapy 🤍🙌🏻🥰
I didn’t see it, but we really need to have people understand mental health. I can’t tell you how my life has been. It’s a horror.
I’ve been trying to get myself to go to therapy for about 18 years and I’m just so ashamed. How can you tell someone else your deepest thoughts that you’ve been feeling for so many years. I’ve been on antidepressants, and while they help, they don’t fix the problem. All these years later I feel stuck in my life, incapable and worthless. I have no idea where to go from here. Hearing Ed talk about therapy brought tears to my eyes. I’m nearing my breaking point. Will this finally get me to go?
Ed is so great ❤❤❤
I appreciate this. Mental health awareness is breaking through.
Great interview and so helpful for so many to hear Ed speak about therapy and how it's helped him. I love him and others who use their platform in such a good and helpful way. So sorry he experienced such a hard time. I just ended therapy for now anyway and it's helped me too. There's no shame in getting help like you would if you had a physical injury or illness and had to see a doctor. I really respect him coming forward including others who do so.
the biggest problem is to find a good therapist, at least for me, in my country.
Isn't that kind of ED to have remembered JAMAL? Sooo much love for you ED..
Peaches JAMAICA 🇯🇲
Love you Edward 😢 you are a very strong man
Rest well Jamal.
That Robbie Williams documentary Nobody Someday had a really profound impact on me too
I just watched eds documentary very heartfelt ❤

Love your each album songs and love you so much,💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭
Love and miss my brother 🙏💙
Rest In Peace Jamal Edwards ❤🙏
Ngl, I had a low couple years where I'd stay in bed the majority of the time, listening to music and a couple consistent UA-camrs. I'd listen to Ed Sheeran and his covers. I still remember listening to his version of "Trap Queen" xD And Lego House made me cry... but shhh, don't let the boys know.
Trap queen and I'm in love with coco were SO underrated
Ed blessing 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
*Love you Teddy*
Top guy!!😊
Rip Jamal another legend gone to soon

This is a cool songwriting exercise! I liked how you used overeat. Definitely a challenging word to add into that mix. Nice work!
Yeah first time I ever heard or saw ed was on sbtv
I lost my dog and best friend Albert. I never related to a song more than I have with Ed Sheeran eyes closed.
Love Ed Sheeran!!!
Teddy you will rock ma super o super ma well done

Emotional stuff! But cheered me up......in a way!
No wonder Stormzy embraces Ed like one of the homies!
RIP Jamal Edwards
True to life
You are a great friend ❤❤❤
1:09 "which ones do you feel talking comfortable about, I know one was the 'far too young' a friend of yours died"
Well you just triggered a response for him to talk about it before he even answered what he was comfortable talking about..
❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
We all go through the same stuff.... just with alot less money
I love how ed shift from ap rm to g shock
Wild Ed 😅😅
I met Jamel 24 hours before he died. Serial
This must have been so hard to say on tv
Riep Jamal💫
Closed Eyes ist ein wundervoller Song zum Gedenken an Jamal! Wer hier einen lieben Menschen verloren hat und genauso fühlt ,der möchte bitte den Daumen hoch anklicken! Es ist März 2024!❤
He looks really healthy
Jfc, Ross has turned into Parky, and... i like it.
The problem is ed, When you aren't ed sheeran trying to seek help isn't as easy as someone assumes, I believe I have autism and for 29 years it's been passed off as depression and anxiety, when I know there's something wrong deep inside, just forget you or your routes which is what the big times always tell you to do, you're music is inspirational never forget that regardless of the others you maybe given
I have friends that are trying to get their son (4) assessed for autism and it will take 2-3 years before they can get fully assessed and diagnosed (or not). This then feeds into whether their son can get additional help... Fortunately the teacher understands and is being proactive in helping but that timescale is way too long. I hope you're able to get any appropriate help you need.
thank you ed show up on jimmy fallon, kelly clarkson show
Jamal Edwards you know . A true king 👑
Is his show on the telly ? If so what channel ?
Uk television. Channel called itv
hmmm I tend to agree with the 'Ginge'.We need therapists, or more of them in the UK. It used to be that after a few beers in the local, you would open up to your mates, they would call you a puffta and not to be a wuss, and that we have all been there and done /gone through that, and as the beers went down, more similar stories came out. Pubs and a few beers after work are almost history, sadly
“I tend to agree with the ginge” wow. You nearly made this a nice post
Wait a second and minute has ed just openly e said and told everyone that he has done or still does and do drugs what no I did not know ed did it 😮😮😮😮😢😢
He has written about this in songs like Bloodstream, Bad Habits and Eraser. It’s something he’s always been very open about.
How recent is this
I've come to understand that Ed is now about the money .... Like Mick and Elton you get to wonder is it just about numbers knowing Paul is the Boss .... But after what Ed had to say get your self a good listener who dont charge too much .
I guess I misspoke when I said that Jonathan Ross would morph with age into a Dame Edna doppelganger. Thank God I was wrong.
Aaaaaww. Let’s feel sorry for Ed and stream his record!
Ok
Imagine, if we were to wear our insides on our outside, what would that look like?
얼굴이 더 좋아진거 같아요
Ed eloquent as ever
Just going to put “Hi Ren” here.
Why do I always think this Singer's face is in widescreen?
Good to see Ed Sheeran doesn't have dementia and does indeed remember Jamal

Meine Schwester starb am 9. Januar dieses Jahr... ich bin richtig am Boden...
Where is Jimmy? You had a rapper the other night. I could hardly understand any English, not that I wanted to hear the garbage but ED is entertainment. Thank you. BRILLIANT ED. You are in our prayers son. All lives matter.
Peace
This caption is a lie he never would’ve forgotten about Jamall. Why would I ever say that?
Im sorry ed your great your music is great and i actually think your an ace guy buy if you think that the average person who probably sees more deaths at a young age than you can afford to see a therapist your wrong. My wife could teĺl me to see someone but that in all honesty is a luxury for the rich. The working class that you may once have been a member don't have that option. Remember what you were originally and just do you
I gotta say. Ed Sheeran might be the nicest and most normal person in Hollywood. Man I love this guy ❤ but also how weird is it for us to watch a guy ask him all these personal ass questions in PUBLIC. It’s weird I kinda hate how we act (myself included)
Why is Jonathan not recognising Jamal without asking Ed . He should already know how important he is . And should have a segment about him . Embarrassing Jon
Agreed! Jamal was his best friend!
Don't do drugs kids.
Jesus's Christ is the way, the light and truth Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Ed yes u talk so much sense about therapy music ok too but ginger really lol
men don't talk about their problems
Blimey,, Ross is turning into Wogan..!
Elton is just a wonderful man? 😂
Bye inky floor dog
Ed has a wife?😕
wife and 2 children:)
Ed will never get over it 😢❤ that will live with him for the rest of his life so sad 😢
Why do they have to laugh at Elton John in high heels??? Gross…
Didn't Jamal die from a drug overdose?
Kokain and Alkohol
@@circemuller1933 why praise a junkie?

There are consequences for using powerful illegal drugs, and combining them with other drugs (alcohol). It's sad, but don't fake act surprised. What happened to the friend is normal and expected. Grow up people, with your fake sympathy. Consequences.
