- Today we will continue making Disney Princess dolls and this time we will make Tiana from The Princess And The Frog movie. I will repaint the Monster High doll's face, make a pair of shoes and a tiara, and my mom will make the legendary Tiana green wedding dress. And we will also 3d print the frog prince!

may I recommend Kida from Atlantis: the Lost empire. although she is a disney princess by all definitions, she is so rarely included in the lineups. I feel like her unique aesthetic would really stand out in your style.

I agree Kida is amazing, and I just learned today why she, and a lot of other princesses aren’t included in the official line up. it has to do with money and whatnot.

I wish they would include her as a Disney princess. Wasn't her bloodline supposed to be royal and that's why the stone spirits spoke to her and they preserved her and her mother those boxes? I feel like she fits in with Moana and Pocahontas' catagory of royalty.

The hair you made is actually more or less accurate to what our hair looks like when we straighten it with flat iron or relaxer...👍🏾 I think you should do more Black dolls (not just character based) because you're good at it and we don't have a lot of representation in the doll art community. I have noticed some of my friends that are pale have been criticized online (reddit) for being not brown and making a brown doll.
Want a trip? Living in Sweden they didn't have any brown dolls unless they were Disney or Winx.

You know what I love about this the most? Tiana’s mother is a dressmaker, so to watch your mum make the dress for your doll is so cute! I know this probably didn’t even cross your mind, but it’s such a nice detail for those who watched the movie! :)

She's not a princess herself, but Mama Imelda from Coco would be so amazing! She's so sassy and doesn't take shit from anyone, she's so iconic and a good representation of Mexican/Spanish culture!

There's a wild heart crew doll based on that! I noticed Poppen had the... I believe 90s style one? I have that one myself and may I just say the wild heart crew dolls are amazing; they have bigger busts and different models that include plus-size looking girls and they're very high quality!

Yes, love this idea too! Or maybe seasons but not just in their out it's. One doll for each Spring, Summer,Fall, Winter. Fall could have colorful leaf dress, wild red hair that looks like it's blowing in wind, with an acorn lantern in her hands. You get the idea...I hope.

If you want to make more black dolls in the future with a more natural hair, yarn is a very good option. Untwisted but Unstraightened-unbrushed for curls, unstraightened for something with more textured, or just regular wefts for lots of hairstyles.
Outside of Disney, have you ever thought about ancient history characters ? An egyptian like Cleopatra or Nefertiti. Or a greek goddess like Athena.
I think alot of those like Cleopatra would start alot of race wars and cultural appropriation wars so 99% sure that will never happen

When you complete the Princess collection, why don't you begin a collection of Disney Heroines who are not princesses. A few I can think of are Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Minnie Mouse, Jessica Rabbit, The Blue Fairy, Wendy, Eglantine Price, Maid Marion, there are so many and I don't think anyone else has tackled a collection like this... I think it would be wonderful...

I love how elegant you made Tiana! I've watched a few others attempt at doing these re-paint or recreations and no one is better than you. I seriously just binge your videos and I put them on at night when I'm laying down in bed. It's so relaxing and your voice is relaxing. I think you are absolutely amazing!

Kida was neither African, nor American... She is from Atlantis, and Atlantis in that Universe located near Iceland. She isn't really from any existent race - we don't have to put every fictional character into one of our racial boxes...
@@a.w.4708 I think it’s because there are so many white Disney princesses that people of color like us want more princesses to look up to as well. I’ve seen people of all races cosplay as Kids. There shouldn’t be anything wrong with different cultures thinking she relates to theirs. Every little girl deserves to feel represented, whether it’s by a character that actually matches their ethnicity or who simply looks like them.

For Ursulas body type, use clay. Like from the drag queen vid,but just way more clay
@@shaylakmiec1127 gotta be careful with that. Too much clay looks very weird with those small joints and creates a pillow effect. Gotta use a doll with an already bigger physique as a base to avoid that

They did Tiana dirty with the marketing of the movie too. Still bitter about it. I think Disney wanted an exuce to get rid of the 2D animation studio.
