    Always Chung's rendition is
    passionate and earnest.
It gives me the energy and
    enjoyment.
    also stradivarius provides
    mellow and speculation.
    It is staggering performance.

You can hear Mozart can't help but express his sorrow over his mothers death throughout the sonata...The best.

This is the best musical homage a young son can make to his beloved deceased mother. What a profound sorrow, almost unbearable yet full of resignation. The final notes are literally tears rolling down Mozart's face. Sublime.

Mozart was certainly feeling bad and he was alone basically in Paris but don't confuse a little bioknowledge with real life. It IS his only violin sonata in a minor key . The environment his unwelcome reception in a city thst formerly loved him also troubled him amongst other tribulations.

2악장은 정말 슬플 때 들으면 음률이 극도로 와 닿는 것 같아요. 여름밤에 혼자 산책하면서 들으면 괜히 서정적이게 되는....

Violin Sonata No. 21 in E minor, K. 304 is a work by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It was composed in 1778 while Mozart was in Paris. The piece was composed during the same period that Mozart's mother, Anna Maria Mozart, died, and the sonata's mood reflects this. It is the only instrumental work by Mozart whose home key is E minor.[1]
    Allegro (in E minor)
Tempo di Menuetto (in E minor)

Please stop referring to these compositions as violin sonatas. They most certainly are not. You know the violin parts in these sonatas is actually the accompaniment and the Piano/Harpsichord parts are the principal. 18th century keyboard sonatas often times also incorporated obbligato parts for violin and cello or a transverse flute in place of the violin accompaniment if a violinist was not available. It is quite incorrect even in our modern times to call these pieces violin sonatas. It was never Mozart’s intention to switch the parts around. At best these are full fledged Duos for both Piano and violin with an emphasis on the piano. Have a look at the original title pages as written by Mozart himself in french.sonatas for Pianoforte with the accompaniment of a violin or Obbligato violin. Further evidence is heard in the writing for both instruments where the piano obviously dominates in the passage work and has the cadential trills. Modern violinist have hijacked these pieces but they more properly belong in the chamber music repertoire or even in a piano recital. The vast majority of these compositions where intended for Mozarts most advanced piano pupils. The violin parts often times played by a servant or Mozart himself. Strange as it may seem to modern musicians and audiences alike these compositions were intended as display pieces for the Piano and not the other way round.

Interprétation très pure et sensible. Un des plus belles sonates de Mozart , la douleur y est présente mais elle est transfigurée par la beauté de la mélodie. et quel dialogue entre le piano et l e violon!
