I was exploring options for a no build, simpler, car camping setup but I was constantly running into the problem of not having a support for our mattress. I thought about getting something inflatable, trying to shape my gear to support it, or even building a small collapseable headrest. Then I came across pet hammocks and I had my solution. Using Amazon knowing I could return the product if it didn't work brought me a bit of peace of mind, so I sent it and Alicia and I tested it out one camping trip. We have loved it! It is simple and quick to setup, and gives us a ton more sleeping space compared to my previous platform.
