Thank you. As a man with a combat arms background i find i like sewing, tailoring and can hardly find things having to do with menswear. I can hardly find mens patterns worth a damn and its mostly women, god love em, that make these videos. I watch to learn on occasion but i find it difficult to translate some advanced stuff to men's apparel.
Thank you. I have a friend with broad shoulders and short body. This makes it a bit simpler for me. I have already shortened a beautiful European oilve green wool jacket.
Thank you for the instructions. At 10:49, when you tie off the basting on the lining, how would you then sew the final hem on the lining - the same "going back" way you sewed the outer hem?
What!? No! Threads shouldn't be showing on the external side of the coat! Lining hasn't been secured by machine. And, his commentary is awful......i.e. "....take some of this".....what is "this"!? Hand covers up action most of the time. Very unclear about dimensions. Terrible.
It's more than a kindness for you, Master Tailor, to share what you've spent a lifetime perfecting. Thank you. I hope I do you justice
I only found your video today. I would love to see more of your videos. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, and Greetings from Honduras, this amazing video helped me so much. Blessings.
Perfect! Just the info I needed to get me through an emergency alteration in time for this weekend. Thank you so much for keeping this video up!

Amazing, just amazing
4:10- 4:13 with subs !!
brutal aber practical
Honestly to say, this way has destroyed the suit. I will never do my jacket in this manner.
subtitles are awful. get someone who knows sewing to note what he says
This was done when people didn't use many subtitles on Youutbe. Buty anyway, Eddie has passed away. He was 92 . RIP

You can see the thread because he used white thread.

Why do you say that
