Kristie is my favorite passer. I love it when the opposing team is running out of gas near the end of a game and Kristie hits these 40 yard bombs over the top.
On the ACL discussion, Emma Hayes on with Julie Foudy had a lot of great inside. There is a lot of research and more is required because as she put it “women are not little men”. They have been very successful at Chelsea avoiding ACL injuries that last 6 yrs
This was just......HILARIOUS!!!😂😂😂 Kristie is an absolute savage, Lyn is waaaayyy chill and Sam is just taking it all on the chin. Now I'm gonna rewatch and CACKLE again.
Appreciate so much their getting real about making the WWC roster and what it means to them. Impossible not to root for these three after that (I was already...but now I'm so on board)
As an Aussie kristie nailed the accent ,she's become a big name down under when thw world cup was the pictures resurfaced at the Olympics of her consoling kerr instead of celebrating much respect
Kristie had some really interesting insights on how bubble players and obviously-going-to-the-WC players both have pressures and stresses, but they're different. Now I want to ask all the nosy questions about how she and Sam Kerr talk about this, haha. Like, her girlfriend literally still holds the career scoring record in a league where she hasn't even played in several seasons.
In regards to ACL injuries ... women are more prone because a woman's pelvis are wider than men's. Since a woman's pelvis is wider it changes the mechanics of how the thigh bone, tibia and femur function. Because of the wider angle from hips to knee it creates more stress on soft tissues and joints and without even noticing it can lead to over use of muscles or suddenly injury
Tell them to chose the best to go to the World Cup. Side referees need to do better the official referee cannot see everything, but side referees can see better and many times closer to the play, and they have also a microphone that is listen by the official referee, and they have the flags.
Kristie is so awesome. Thanks for being so real sharing your feelings about your career and aspirations to make the WC '23 roster. Congrats for making it AND making that PK against that Swedish Keeper.💪💛
99.9% of your statement is accurate; But give the Swedish Goalie, who played her a..s off a little more Respect than calling her THAT; It's a tip - off, of an "Over biased" US Fan mindset, that's convinced "America has won Every WW Cup'", the Earth ISNT ROUND, & Western Civilization has come 2 an End because the US couldn't pull off the WW Cup "3 Peat Not cool; Not Picking on You, but a "so - called" Podcaster pretending 2 be a Analyst on CBS used the same term, calling ZECIRA MUSOVIC, "THAT" Swedish goalkeeper; International Journalists People didn't call ALYSSA NAHER "that" American Goalkeeper, "Political Correctness" is "over the top" but having the class & courtesy like saying your opponent's name & pronouncing it properly isn't one of them.
Women are much more susceptible to knee injuries. Where you are in your period cycle can play a part. Thigh bone angle to knee is greater than in men, which means a greater load on knee joint. Also bones and joints are thinner. Women’s football is modelled off the men’s game. We need to seriously consider if some things need to change for women. Shorter games, more changes during games, mandatory rest (set a limit for allowed minutes per player in a given time period), a proper off season. Might need to look at reschedule the whole game structure (particularly in Europe). Also keep working on all things like rest and recovery, the right strength training to prevent injury. The way women’s football evolved so dramatically in the last 10 years and transitioned from amateur to professional, with greater loads and better players, might be a factor as well.
Well, 58:45 also they need to find a good chef incline 90% to Vegetarian and Vegan, this will thinner their blood carrying more Oxygen and nutrients to the brain and muscles.
The Gotham rain delay was such a long break that I had time to leave the stadium, avoid the rain, travel back to Queens, and catch the second half on TV.
The reason why there are so many injured, a great percentage is the REFEREES, let the players cause a lot of fouls. As a former Referee I was tougher. I’ll say next time you get a yellow or red card. If it was intentional I’ll show the yellow card and the game will calm down and everybody will start playing cleaner. Remember? World Cup 2019? All those team that play against the USWNT lost. (France, Spain, England and Netherlands) I’m a former Assistant coach and a former referee. So, In your future programs please invite the best referee you think is the best, and ask a lot of questions and regulations and what part of your bodies can you use to push your opponent. Since I was a teenager and playing we will only used our shoulders, that’s. NOT hands, NOT hips, NOT elbows, NOT knees, NOT fists, NOT kicks, NOT to trip, NOT pull the hair of your opponent. And as USWNT JUST play CLEAN, and the last thing if you see somebody to FOUL you try to jump out of it before the opponent, some South American games.
They are honest with themselves. Lynn has an interior peace that probably was taught by her father or mother, Lynn looks very close to Kristen Press attitude. Remember you are being watch by millions of girls of all ages. Be the best you can be. Run every day, during a play or running to catch somebody that has the ball and passing you just get in front without causing a foul. Use your speed.
Ladies great podcast am a guy and love everything about soccer. One thing I think is the women's club leagues are still growing compared to the men's leagues across the world like MLS or EPL where you have 20+ teams therefore playing more games a week and not even including FA cup or Carrling cup or UEFA and so on some teams play 3-4 games a week. Why am I saying this is the women's teams need depth larger teams so as to not overplay you definite starters on everything.
Europeans teams most of the time play Dirty. Is like a tradition. You have to teach younger generations with the example. Don’t you think so? Great program, keep it improving.
Kristie is so awesome. Super hot to!!!All the girls on the 23 team are beautiful inside and out . Will be watching every game!!!! Go get that 3peat girls!!!
THIS IS CRAZY BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BALL, I’ve been thinking about the ball being designed for men’s body weight and strength, what if we create a lighter ball especially designed for women, that could be a game changer and also help women with injures. Please give me your thoughts about it. Maybe is a crazy idea but I do believe it could be a reason.
Lol: Great Episode: Back me Up on this "Special K" Sis & Lynn; SAM, you have "0" to Worry about; You're quite... Attractive, w/ "0 Makeup" which is always a + Plus Height: No Problem; NOT Intimidating, its... INTOXICATING; and the length is a ideal for Fashion; Want 2 go Shopping? DONE! Nice Voice 2 Boot, well suited for Podcast/ Broadcasting; Perhaps you can Analyze Games before & after your career; Maybe BOTH World Cups: Same for Sis & Lynn, you're all Good BACK to SAM: You're doing Just Fine; Tomboyish, Talented, Tenacious, Talkative, and, like your Sister Tantalizing; That's another way of saying... Pretty
*Concerning the ACL injury, science cannot do anything about it. The cause of this injury in female footballers is because of the anatomical differences such as wider pelvis, leg shape, hormonal emphasis.*
The Mewies + Lynn always gives us the best content 🤣 this episode was hilarious
Also, I want to see Sam Kerr wearing a “Girlfriend Sam” T and Sam Mewis wear a “Sister Sam T"
I'm Kristie and this is my girlfriend Sam and this is my sister Sam
Omg yassss to both shirts 👕 alt shirts for the days when stains be a thang 😜
Kristie is my favorite passer. I love it when the opposing team is running out of gas near the end of a game and Kristie hits these 40 yard bombs over the top.
Kristie needs to be on more regularly 😂 it’s just them shooting the shit and it’s hilarious
💯
On the ACL discussion, Emma Hayes on with Julie Foudy had a lot of great inside. There is a lot of research and more is required because as she put it “women are not little men”. They have been very successful at Chelsea avoiding ACL injuries that last 6 yrs
Easily one of the best episodes yet, so funny. Love the genuine relationships between the three of them.
Impossible not to root for these three after that (I was already...but now I'm so on board)
a sister named sam and a lover named sam !
I love how effortlessly funny Sam is and how hard she can make Kristie laugh🤣🤣🤣💛💛💛
As an Aussie kristie nailed the accent ,she's become a big name down under when thw world cup was the pictures resurfaced at the Olympics of her consoling kerr instead of celebrating much respect
When both their MA accents come out, I love it!! From a New Englander
Kristie congrats on that PK. but i’m still heartbroken from the loss.. y’all got this at the Olympics!! in 🇫🇷 BEST EYEBROWS IN THE GAME
This was an awesome episode ! Kristie should come on more often ! 🤣👏🏼

Because of the wider angle from hips to knee it creates more stress on soft tissues and joints and without even noticing it can lead to over use of muscles or suddenly injury
And women’s ligaments loosen at certain times in their menstrual cycle putting them at higher risk for ACL and similar injuries.
Your right but, write to the Referee’sAssociation
Tell them to chose the best to go to the World Cup. Side referees need to do better the official referee cannot see everything, but side referees can see better and many times closer to the play, and they have also a microphone that is listen by the official referee, and they have the flags.
This has been debunked
I wish Kristi was on every episode. Her interaction with Sam is the best
was having a crappy day and this instantly cheered me up! thanks girlies
You all cracked me up today. Thanks for the fun.
We need a third sister's episode, but including Girlfriend Sam 😂
Kristie is so awesome. Thanks for being so real sharing your feelings about your career and aspirations to make the WC '23 roster. Congrats for making it AND making that PK against that Swedish Keeper.💪💛

Not cool; Not Picking on You, but a "so - called" Podcaster
pretending 2 be a Analyst on CBS used the same term,
calling ZECIRA MUSOVIC, "THAT" Swedish goalkeeper;
International Journalists People didn't call ALYSSA NAHER
"that" American Goalkeeper, "Political Correctness" is
"over the top" but having the class & courtesy like
saying your opponent's name & pronouncing
it properly isn't one of them.

The Gotham rain delay was such a long break that I had time to leave the stadium, avoid the rain, travel back to Queens, and catch the second half on TV.

Clearly you are all confident. I think your life in sports has built up a lot of confidence in life.
I kind of wish the guest on snacks is always Kristie or Rose.
Love how her background is the Same as Sam’s interviews one
Is no one gonna talk about the mini cameos kristie had in the Matilda’s docuseries?

*Concerning the ACL injury, science cannot do anything about it. The cause of this injury in female footballers is because of the anatomical differences such as wider pelvis, leg shape, hormonal emphasis.*
😂😂😂❤
Sam Sam Sam
ACL tears are much more common in women's sports compared to men. It's been a highlighted issue for years.
