Fun Fact: Emerald ore used to spawn in 15-20 veins when it was first added, but people complained to Mojang that was too easy to find, so Mojang changed the veins of them spawning. Fun Fact Number 2: Emeralds used to be rubies, but one of the developers was color blind and both redstone and rubies looked the same, so Mojang changed the ruby to be emeralds.
These are super interesting but when it was changed to emerald, wouldn’t the developer still have the exact same problem? 😹
@@sarahhachmuth6499 I'm guessing no since green and red look different if your color blind and considering emerald ore is the only green ore in the game, I'd say no.

5:19 Better explanation: The game makes sure the treasure is burried correctly by putting the block it replaced around it (it only does that if its air,water,or lava) and the game does not copy the nbt data which makes it have the blank one which is a pig spawner. Also the chest wont work as it has the nbt data of the cave spider spawner in it.

Imagine finding Bob spawning next to the glitched spawner, which is located in a desert with a 22 block tall cacti, and in the nearby underground there's a 14 emeralds vein, right next to the fully filled end portal. Let's just say you went back on the land surface and got hit by lightning, it killed you and you rage quitted, later on creating a new world, just to spawn in the exat same seed. You opened UI to see where you're actually spawned in that seed, just to realise it's a modified jungle edge.
I will yeet my phone if than will happen😂

I didn't realize how rare "Bob" is until I found him while grinding for coal when I stumbled across him in the cave. I still have him as a pet . In fact his name is Jim.

You probably don’t care at this point, but a small clarification is that the ultra rarity of Bob in this video is more to do with the specific and very limited conditions that you can get him to spawn in. Without those, in normal gameplay, he’s still pretty rare, but as you’ve testified, he’s not THAT rare 😅

2:15 unfortunately i have no evidence to back this up but once i got 4 baby chickens in two egg throws directly after eachother.
A very fun video, but I have to point out that given that no bounds are set as to what counts and what doesn't it is incredibly easy to create improbable events of any arbitrary rarity. For example you could just get the same seed 6 times in a row and blow past any probability in this video. You could then keep getting the same seed one after another for hundreds, thousands, or quintillions of times to get an arbitrarily large rarity. Something like this is only interesting if you limit it in some way, such as 'Only in one world' or 'Just mob spawning'. Leaving in actions that could be repeated infinitely and not disqualifying that makes any rarity pointless.
I have never even seen a mob spawn with diamond equipment naturally.
It’s funny how people think that the pink sheep is the rarest mob. Everyone knows it’s a baby husk on a brown panda with iron armor.

I once found a 5 block tall cactus, I dont remember the seed, but it generated in a badlands biome on top of a mineshaft.. It was so cool

I think you shold clarify a bit more.
When you are referring to "it has an xyz% chance of happening", its very unclear what instance you mean. For example, getting to the skeletton horse, do you mean 4% per second, minute, month or even year?
The chances of having a skeleton horse spawn is about 4.444r during an in-game thunderstorm.

i remember in 2016 i tried playing survival
in 2019 trying to feel nostalgia i played the same version and created a new world
the spawn looked very familiar (i spawned in 16 63 16 with three cacti aligned diagonally with a 1 block gap + a mesa next to the desert) on a desert and so i checked my old map's seed and took the new map's seed
they were the exact same

Yesrs ago when I was first getting into Minecraft I unknowingly spawned the same world seed as a friend of mine. I only learned this when he was at my house one time and recognized the cave I was in, claiming it was the same cave as in his world. He took the controls and guided me to a diamond vein I had no idea about to prove it.

what are the odds of a villager with a swamp outfit spawning? since it happens when a villager house/farm overlaps the terrain of a swamp, and it has happened to me once, i encountered a naturally spawning swamp villager. and i am very sure they are rare

There was a 1.20 seed recently discovered that had a naturally spawned jungle village. It happened because a plains village spawned in the middle of Lake in a jungle biome and all the villagers had jungle outfits.

What are the chances measured in??? The Skeleton horses for example: 1-4% per what? In-game-tick? Per night? Per horse spawned? The chance tells me nothing without such a kind of reference. Also, what about pink baby sheep?
Your math is wrong on the double seed.
The FIRST time you get the seed is 1 in 18 Quadrillion.
Now technically, the chance of getting that seed is still 1 in 18 Quadrillion, but lumping in the fact that we JUST had it changes the chance mathmatically.
So, to have the same seed twice in a row, you multiply the two together. Which means the probability of that happening is actually 1 in 32.4e+32
So it's not just insanely unlikely, it's realistically impossible and has never happened to anyone.
6:35 you made a mistake there are about 18 quintillion seeds in minecraft so the odds are actually 1 in 18 quintillion
(1 quadrillion = 10¹⁵ and 1 quintillion = 10¹⁸)

no one will probably believe me but when i had my xbox 360, i made a minecraft world and it was the iconic “Quest to kill the ender dragon” world by stampy and squid. i don’t know where the xbox is now or the disk but that’s incredible to me. i was so shocked as a kid 😂

Did you know that is some pillager mansions there can be a nether portal room with lava and if you wait a little fire will catch on the planks and light the portal. This is very rare and has only happened 2 times ever in 1:16 and 1:17

One time i found i fossil in a mansion, two duengos exposed what the 2 ones has a enchanted golden apke, 17 pink sheeps, 8 enc golden apple, one zombie with a helmet of diamond, a skeleton with chestplate and helmet of diamonds, 3 times the modifier jungle edge, some 30 mansions withouth map, 3 time 4 chincken in one egg, 11 diamond vein, 50 diamonds in cave, 2 emerald vein, and others. Im so luck B)
