I believe that the WR3 spot will be mostly a rotation among Kalif, DPJ, and Green. At this point in time I think that Kalif deserves to be the first choice among those guys. Note: PFF named Kalif as the best WR in the NFL for getting open on his targets.
Raymond has been with lions longer he knows the offense but dpj has his opportunity he big can catch and is tough hope we can see in July training and august exhibition.
Why do these projections always assume there will be no injuries? DPJ is a phenomenal depth piece beyond your scenarios. His size also can be used to take advantage of match ups with certain other teams. Ben Johnson is no dummy, he knows what he has.
Raymond was paid, follow the money. DPJ/Green/Whoever fights for WR4 ends up being option five or six in the offense. Also, some fans need to mentally prepare that some "names" we are used to seeing at the bottom of the roster fight for roster spots and they may not make it. Bad teams are going to poach unprotected practice squad players off the Lions.
Raymond only started in 21 when we had little talent. Otherwise he's been a spot starter, depth or a special teamer. I think DPJ will start out of training camp, but we'll see what happens.
Come on. This is a BS question you guys really have run out of shit to talk about. DPJ will be wr3, take most of the abuse, and Raymond will be for them what he always has. A dangerous change of pace weapon, valuable also on special teams, and our general swiss army knife for explosive plays. They will both get plenty of snaps, but Khalif should not take too much abuse. He is not built for it, but he IS built for running in the open field, and they will try to put him there. DPJ gets the tough calls.
Kalif actually does a lot of the dirty work in this offense in terms of blocking, making tough catches, etc. I think you’re judging him by his size instead of going off what his tape says.
@@mcannon313 Thanks for the note, but I disregard everything you just said. Why do you think he does not play more on offense? He already has a big load on special teams. They also do not want him taking "every down" abuse, he is not big enough to last the whole season with a big work load. I think YOU are thinking that you know more bout this than I do. Thanks for playing, but you lost.
Either playing for a 1st down or RED ZONE offense then DPJ is the man who wins a jump ball throw for field position & TDs. You guys do NOT mention the height advantage for DPJ! Open field route running for speed may give Kahlif an advantage yet does the Lions offense improve with a shorter shifty receiver? Why are guys talking Jamo & LaPorta & Vaki? Why are you guys NOT talking any DPJ positive aspects in his game? Do you guys even know DPJ? Can you stay on Topic? ?????? DPJ was recruited at MICHIGAN by which head coach? Harbaugh? And why? DPJ caught the eye of our GM & head coach? YOU GUYS DO UNDERSELL DPJ! BLOCKER ONLY????? POOR REPORTING BAD CHAT

i havent seen him play much but i have hopes for green to make an impact this year.
I’m excited to see what DPJ can do but love the difference between he & Kalif
I think it's gonna depend on who we're playing and also if DPJ and Goff can get on the same page.

Yes! Injuries will create opportunity
Jamo Kalif and DPJ will make up as a group also with Gibbs adding in on routes 💪🏾🏈
K. Raymond. Then spread the ball around just like last year. Nothing changes except the player, and the year. LETS GET THAT LOMBARDI TROPHY Y'ALL!!!😮

I love Kalif but he is so small. I hope DPJ can step up. It most likely will be filled by both of them depending on the situation.
They can play them both the size Doesn’t matter Kalif gets open
Raymond is our #3 if Raymond is healthy he soild veteran wr for us
Not thinking Mitchell is going to be there guys!!!He’s been running like he has cement in his shoes!
Khalif gone work dpj gotta show me he ready
DPJ. Raymond is battling TreQuan Smith for WR4 imo
J will return sometime too
I will remind you Kalif Raymond was an All-Pro two years ago. That's not by accident.
As a punt returner.. not receiver
DPJ
Whts up with this Anton green guy out of North Carolina…he was supposed to be a deep threat
Hey, it's ZZ Top. 😂

Stumbled on this, Kalif is totally yoked bro. Apparently, you've never seen him out of shirt. He's bigger than Amon, thick wize.

YOU GUYS DO UNDERSELL DPJ! BLOCKER ONLY?????
POOR REPORTING BAD CHAT
Who cares. Play em both
Facts
I think you sell DPJ he has done well when he has had a good QB throwing to him! Far more effective than Leif when he was in Cleveland!!!
This a non relevant topic!
My thoughts also.
