Some general things/Tips Lowko did not go over.
10:10
When choosing your random cards, *your opponent gets the same random cards as you do* .
This is important for strategy, but especially so when you get unit cards or active ability cards.
17:00
The control towers are not only there to debuff you If they get killed.
The Right control tower themselves have permanent upgrades that give your whole army upgrades, or spells/active abilities to use.
( one of them is the ability to once per turn sell units for 100% refund cost )
And the Left one has 1 turn of temporary buffs.
The temporary buffs are great for the mid-end game to finish out games, but it is an economic loss in the long term.

Items can only be reused when you sell the unit you give it too.
So selling a weak unit with an item to give it to a stronger unit is something you can/should do.

It is generally a bad idea to unlock tech before round 3 or 4.
Getting more units especially sacrificial units AKA "chaff units" like Fangs or Crawlsers who are cheap and expendable is better in the long run most of the time.
Unlocking a tech shows the opponent you want to invest in them and they can start countering them earlier.
*Especially for storm callers who are super easy to counter*
Lowko only showed off the missile, but there is an anti-missile turret and a force field that is a great counter to "spells" or ability cards.
Stormcallers get counted by fast-moving units like crawlers, but there are also tech upgrades and the freely unlocked anti-missile turret that counters them for only 100 resources.
( Granted the anti-missile turret for 100 resources can die and does not respawn if it does )

You can only deploy 2 units per round.....UNLESS you pay 50 resources in the left control towers which have 1 turn buffs.
( there is also a card that gives you +1 deployments for every round )
The 1-turn buffs include :
buying an extra unit.
buying level 2 units ( the price increase for all units is also increased by 50% which is the level upp cost )
Faster speed on all your units for 1 turn.
Longer range for all units for 1 turn.

Levelling a unit costs 50% of the deployment cost, but gives 100% of its stats per level.
It is usually a bad idea to upgrade Crawlsers and Fangs because doing so gives them more experience for the opponent's units level when killed.
And they are very weak individual units to begin with. ( you are usually better off getting tech upgrades for ALL crawlers then upgrading their levels even if its cheap )

Aren't you worried that it'll become "pay to win" once it comes out of early-access?
@AdityaMehendale there's no pay to win aspects in the game. No loot boxes. There's skins for units and prediction tickets that can both be obtained naturally over time. This shouldn't even be a thought
@@redgalaxy5199 The optimist in me wants to agree with you. However, once teh game is "Free to Play", the devs have to put food on the table; 9 times out of 10, it is some form of p2w.

I really like the new 4-player free-for-all gamemode. 4 players surrounding an AI player, you gain extra supply for the next round based on damage dealt, and instead of reducing everyone else's score to 0, you win by gaining score depending on how much you have left after everything else is destroyed, and the leading player will have gigantic units targeting them to sort of even the odds
fun game, played it for about 20 hrs since getting it last week
So you cant controll the units yourself? Its all auto?

You should do 1v1 with Harstem , that would be epic.
Love this game. It would be great to see you play it more. With stuff like this it’s more fun to watch you play than to watch a pro play
It's great you have so many fangs, but a couple of arclites would have annihilated everything the enemy started with in your first and second rounds.
Every game you want to start with a balance of 4 types of units
- Chaff (fangs, crawlers)
- Area (Arclites, Mustangs... later vulcans)
- Single unit (Pheonix, marksman, steel balls, later melting point)
- Ranged damage (Stormcaller, scorpion) - often get these round 2.
Also, always keep a gap of 3 squares between units on the front line, it prevents sentinel missiles killing more than one unit.
Crawlers are stronger into mustangs than fangs are. Also, with storms you want something to smush into the crawlers asap and force them to stand still under the missiles. So a row of 3 crawlers right at the front of your board would have make the stormcallers much more effective and helped you a lot.
When you place your fangs in front of the vulcan, think about where the enemy crawlers are going to go - into the fangs. So help your vulcan by putting the fangs vertically directly in front of it. Bring the enemy crawlers directly into a nice narrow death-zone.
When I get sabertooth tanks 19:00 I always get the anti-missile upgrade which would have blocked your stormcallers from hurting them. With that upgrade the tanks might have killed everything else you have. You had no single-target damage at this point (other than stormcallers)
Missile strike is ideal against light targets, especially aircraft (which cannot be protected). The correct target for your missile was probably the level 2 mustangs which would have all died and which deal huge damage. Always lead the shot slightly because it takes a while to arrive.
It sucks that there is no undo button for putting damage +200% on the fangs. Damage on the vulcan was the right choice. However you can get a unit-sell ability from the right tower, sell the fangs and get the damage buff back that way. Vulcan also has an unlockable damage buff. Range is a good choice on the vulcan too. +200% damage is powerful into rapid-fire low-damage units like mustangs, vulcans, typhoons or wraiths.
Buying pheonix production on your war factory is how it gets anti-air. Phenoix shields (like fang shields) make them much stronger against marksmen.
The armor upgrade on the arclites would have basically made them invunerable to mustangs or crawlers, as their damage is too low (

The game is great - it is an improvement over sc2 community made tower defences. However recent updates downgraded the visuals of the game. But still I am happy that the game is frequently receiving feature updates. :)

Harstem also covered this but I can tell you put a lot more effort into yours and learning the game etc so it sells the game and explains it a lot better. Due to this I added it to my wishlist since it's going to be free to play in a year and I already have enough games to play.

So this is like Blood Tournament and Dota Autochess.

How to understand good game or bad? Well, if Hard AI is weaker than Easy AI game cant be good. This means that developer himself does not understand how game works.
