I have had lone wolf stands for 25 years and I wouldn’t use any else. I did my research on your bow mounting bracket and you said it fits on all lone wolf stands but then when you listen to the instructions they tell you that you need to a j hook for older models. There was no j hook in the package. Are you telling me that I have to supply the j hook? Please respond, not happy.
Just FYI for anyone wanting to buy the extended sidekick in early 2023: They got a batch that has a thicker coat of the anodized coating. The bolt does not fit in any holes so you can’t mount it. Support says you have to use a 1/4 drill bit to widen the hole. LW will not exchange it for a good one because they are still selling this bad batch! They will only refund so I have to buy again and pay for shipping again =( Honestly, this rubs me the wrong way because it's not the right thing to do for customers (right thing to do for profit though!)… these should be sold as defective/scratch n dent! Edit: I'm sure most guys don't mind drilling a wider hole, yet I feel worried that will prematurely rust the holder and stand.
I have an update! Their customer service finally called me back after 2 weeks (from first call) and they will process an exchange with no extra shipping out of my pocket. I just have to wait until they get extended sidekicks with larger holes (no eta). I was also told that it won’t rust when it’s drilled because it’s made out of aluminum. I feel much more confident about LW standing behind their products now! Yet I still believe the current extended batch should be sold as scratch n dent, or they should drill larger holes before sending them out the door.
If you were to flip that thing over would it work for traditional bows? I like the concept and want to get one for my .5 if it'll work on longbows/recurves
I'd like to get ah lone wolf ball cap but I'm not really ah fan of that light blue patch on the hat u guys have out on the market right now. Need ah hat with ah red/black/ grey color scheme . I like the hats u guys had out on the market back in the day
If you decide to mount the bow holder on the other side of the stand from where you just mounted it, do you have to turn it upside down for the bow holder to hold your bow right?
You guys build and design some amazing stuff but come on. Get a second camera angle please. You can get a kill shot self filming on a 180" whitetail but can't get a second angle so we can actually see what the heck you're doing.
Well this video is about useless. Those washers that are supposed to “lock” it into place for non-lone wolf. There’s no way in hell I’d trust it for my bow
