in 2019 i was looking for a woodworking project and decided to build some beehives and frames. while doing said project i began studying about bees and decided to try beekeeping i quickly found them to bee the best therapy one could ever ask for. i spend hours just watching them and find incredible peace doing so. All i can say to my fellow veterans is try it. to have peace again is the greatest gift. i wish i had discovered beekeeping sooner. also thank you Dr Boncristiani for all your helpful information. it is much appreciated
Same here. I started helping a very little colony of bees next to my house during a very cold Autumn. And those girls gave me so much more in return. Especially their trust and companionship. They came every day at lunch time and left at tea time🥰. Now I've moved to a flat and I really miss them.

Just joined as a mentor 3 weeks ago. Have a local mentee work with me 3 times so far. 1 was a swarm in my yard bivouac in a tree. Another was a removal from a 10 inch concrete hole at my son in laws mulch bin. Then went thru my MEANEST hive to pinch the queen and had him go thru drone brood looking for mites- none. He is a Marine and is hands on full on working the bees. His brother is also a mentee they are supposed to get 2 nucs soon. GREAT GUYS GREAT PROGRAM!!!
What a fantastic idea Humberto. Bees are "The daughters of the Sun" and their wing movements are said to have the same frequency of LOVE. I'll be watching the live show all the way from South America Uruguay 🇺🇾!!!

I have PTSD but not from my time in the military as i never went overseas to serve the Corperatocrisy. But i definitely know PTSD and can attest to the fact that beekeeping has helped me tremendously.
What instigated your PTSD?
Our veterans did something similar in the 90s after the Balkan wars. Bees, fruit trees, other animals... veterans who lived close to ich other did stuff together organized (i can't remember how would you call it in English). I know it works.. trust me it's much better to obsess about bees than the other stuff. I wish you all the best. And to become good beekeepers
