Chukchi nomads live and migrate in Chukchi peninsula in Russia. They are awesome! They work hard but also have fun. Kids are adorable. They look like a babies bears in their traditional deerskin overall. - Розваги
If i had to choose between living my modern life today or being born this way, i would choose this life... no bills, no deadlines, no rush, no hatred, no competition .....just living.

I always think of that episode where they talked about a group of young children who had been sent away to boarding school for their education, and they became so homesick for their families that they ran away together and became lost in a snowstorm. The adults sent out search parties but they could not find them. Eventually when the snow melted they found the children's bodies - they were not far from the school. They had frozen to death.

Hard according to who? This is their life what they're use to. Looks hard to most because most couldn't survive 1 hour this way.. So I don't this a way of life is hard for nomads when it's all they know
this made my day! what a special and pivotal moment in Asya's development. Children in a lot of westernized countries are lacking the opportunity to take risks. They are being robbed of the opportunity to learn how to test one's limits. There are studies on it now bc it's such a problem. We could def stand to learn a think or two from Asya!

I always watch your videos, I watch your videos over and over again. I love watching documentaries about Russia. Ever since when In was a kid, I am dreaming to go to your country. And because of you and Ulengovs’ vlogs, I fell in love more to your country and culture. Some people laugh at me when I say that my dream country is Russia, they said that I can’t go there because it is too dangerous and I can’t go back alive. Instead of fighting/argue with them, I’m telling them about your culture, how you take care of your family and other people, and how much respect you have for you nature. Well, that’s one of the reasons why I really love Russia, your people, and culture - how you respect the nature, and preserve your culture. That I rarely see to other countries.

Those little ones look at the world around them, not knowing anything else. I wonder if they are happy... It is a harsh life. I think they get a lot of love from their parents. That's what they really need. They seem to be happy, but I do feel for them. I guess their life is a lot safer than the life many young ones have in western countries.

Grandpa is so funny! My daughter couldn't say the "R" sound either when she was Asya's age. She loved turtles, but it would always come out as "tootle"; it became her nickname. She's 18 now, and we still call her Turtle. 😄
