Ah! Pole about that, lakini I'm an ardent believer that you can make it from anywhere! The Alliance most definitely exposes one a great deal, lakini it's your hardwork and God's grace that gets you places! I'm pretty sure of it bro! You too can be whatever you wanna be!
I disagree. As a person who went to a local high school in Northern Kenya. I barely speak a few words without anyone noticing my tribe due to my heavy accent. I started a small business where I have employed people from such great national schools. At times, life is all written.
As an Alliance alumnus I'll tell you this, everything you get in life is through your own sweat! We worked hard to get into Alliance and Alliance didn't make high school easier. We worked hard and that hardwork continued after that! Alliance never gave me any connections, most of us made our own connections. Personally I just gave academics my all because that's the only thing I knew would get my feet on the door. It would do the talking before I opened my mouth. And yes grades is not everything but if you don't have a godfather somewhere you might as well use your brain as the key to opening some of those doors. And not all Alliance alumni become doctors and engineers as you can see Kasmuel is a music educator and he's making the best of it. He's good in his craft and has mastered eloquence and has a pleasant demeanour which definitely sets him apart from the crowd. My parting shot: In highschool we used to say ' Anything worth doing is worth doing well. Be the best in what you do and people will seek your services. That's how you create success for yourself! Nothing happens by chance. Those who seem so good at something they usually have put in a lot of effort. You want to be eloquent, pick up a book and cultivate a reading culture.
