Do you have a local indoor rink? I started from roller hockey too and I found it transfers to ice hockey pretty easily. Rinks usually have free skates, stick and puck, and drop in games that only cost a few bucks to get out there and get your bearings.
Yes they are totally out in hockey, but in the freestyle scene in Europa they are big. There is also a freestyle group in Toronto but the most of them dont use tblade.
I really like your videos, I restarted my ace skate career after more than 10 years and my 15+ years old ccm-s aren't aged well to be honest:D I thinking about to buy this skate, made a nice shopping cart at t-blade because there is almost impossible to buy them here in hungary but man.. my govorment made HUF so shit, the euro almost doubled in the past 1 years so maybe i buy them next season :D Nevermind, all of your videos are awesome, keep up the good work! I think the top part is somewhat too stiff for a beginner - I can't tie it tight enough - and there will always be a lot of space on the top. Is it supposed to be like that? Do you have any tips?
What is this skate for like Free style skating Figure Skating? Hockey? like im kinda confused cause the blade looked a bit off to me but doesnt look like a figure skate so i m just wondering what type of skating is it meant for
Its a hockey Boot and you can use it for that. But the pair i tested comes with a special holder System mounted that is pretty common in freestyle ice skating. Because I am a freestyler sponsored by this holder Brand. And I would never Touch figure skates😅
Hey guys, I want to buy a pair of hockey skates (just for recreational skating 1-2 times a week) and I can't decide between CCM Tacks AS-550 and Bauer XLP. Which one do you recommend more? (I weight 65kg and my height is 175cm if that matters). Unfortunatelly, there are no hockey shops nearby so buying ones that fit better is not applicable for me ;/

Would be nice if they come back with the PROlite3 blade holders. The turns you can make with that VLook blade holders.

Try to use waxed laces and to bake them. This might help you

CCM skates usually fit one size smaller than shoe size.
