My Cornish and Celtic ancestry tells me " I'm home" everything I go to Cornwall.🙏❤️👏 May .God bless the people of Cornwall for loving and caring for the God given land and the resource of the sea they are given to care for and enjoy. 👏🙏💕
I don't believe in "genetic memory", but I get a similar feeling the few times I was lucky enough to visit The Scottish Borders. It does feel like home.
Thank you for you post. We are still here and it still is a working Cornish fishing village. Come down and visit. Even better come to hear us sing with Cornwall Youth Choir in our 50th anniversary concert in the Hall for Cornwall on the 12th. June
I live in South Yorkshire now, but from Hartlepool originally , and I holiday in Cornwall every year, and “Meva “ is my favourite place in all of Cornwall, and I call Cornwall my adopted county, I know it better than where I live, it’s so peaceful, I love the people, the county and the music, I call it my 2 nd home, I’m just at peace when I’m in Cornwall, long may it never change
I am sorry about the very late reply. We have open rehearsals in St Andrews Chapel every Monday form 7:30 so you can just pop in and either listen or if you are interested have a go at singing with us. No worries if you do not have a singing background we cna teach you---equally great if you do you will slot in easily.
Beautiful singing of this beautiful song. Thanks for posting it.
