- On Thursday 5th March 2015 a group of Cornish shanty singers flew from Newquay airport to London Gatwick to serenade Flybe passengers on St Piran’s Day.
The singing also coincided with us celebrating six years of operating the Newquay Cornwall Airport route to Gatwick Airport.

I was born in Cornwall and I will be buried in Cornwall!
Good to see so many stopping to listen and film. Beautiful sound. 💖
Here's to all our Cornish friends near and far! :) X
Chills!
This is why I love living in cornwall! Lots of people don’t get what cornwall is like! It’s amazing here!
Love visiting from Ireland.
It's a part of the soul of all Cornish people. It is their paradise. It is not amazing, unless you are financially independent (English?). No decent university jobs (many Cornish are brilliant intellectuals). As a working class girl from Malabar, a Curnow, where would you have me work?
Half the buggers in Cornwall now are in-comers - the Dynamics have changed in the last 20 years
For my Truro born much missed grandmother and her now also gone family based around there that made my childhood such a bright and glorious world.
I don't want to thumb up this, as it doesn't feel right, when you are missing a loved one. Your grandmother is still around you Alan, in you, your children and grandchildren. A part of our loved ones is always with us!
