Your lessons are the best I have ever seen on the Internet. You have a soothing and encouraging voice, and the way you show each step along with helpful tips makes a huge difference to those of us who have a lot to learn. You are a true teacher, not someone who just wants to show how great he plays the guitar. Thank you very much.
You Sir, are THE BOMB! Thank you so much for these wonderful and ACCURATE lessons! If you had DVDs for sale I would definitely buy them. Thank you for sharing
Thanks so much dude for the awesome tuning techique!!! 45+ years later!!, and why didnt i think of that!??,right? Cause all others really do fail, and its by ear ya end up,eventually. This is terrific!!! Much time will be saved,!!yay!
Awesome! Those are my favorite types of Les Paul tones....clean to cleanish...so much depth and dynamic range which gets overlooked by everyone always playing them with OD/fuzz, which dont get me wrong also sounds great, but there's something special that only a LP can bring to clean tones
Now THIS is a guitar lesson... None of that on and on and on discussion of strum beats over and over till I want to scream at the screen 'shut the fuck up and play'... Here we are... Straight up... Let us see the fingering and hear the music... Perfect...
I play the bass parts. I've thought about doing lessons on those, but I'm not a real bass player so I don't feel qualified to teach bass. I love playing bass though, and I feel I've improved a lot over the years. Cheers, Andy
@@ShutupAndPlayGuitarTutorials Sounds like you are. I bet a lot of people would subscribe if you started a channel for that. You are so good at the details of your guitar playing, I would think you'd be the same for the bass parts. Something to think about, love your channel by the way. Still trying to get Salisbury Hill down lol.

Just like way back in the days of old?

Andy, your phrasing is great on the melody, man. 👍🏻🎸
That's delightful...such an emotional song, that fog horn is so sad
You have the best guitar tutorials on UA-cam. They’re clear and always well taught. You should do one on Sweet Virginia by The Rolling Stones!
Im a guitar player but the bass line is the essential part of that song that gives it its groove! Well written song!
Beautiful playing, man. I absolutely love what you did for the horn lines. And those fills! Wow! Very tasty. 👌🏼

Hi Shutup & Play, where do you get your backing tracks from?
Except for a handful early on, I record everything myself. Cheers, Andy.

@@danielzukle5471 Yeah, but if he started teaching bass, he'd put fewer songs out. There's only so much time in a day.
ThT lead sound reminds me of Neon Moon by Brooks’s N Dunn
