It’s so cool to see how M&Ms are made in the largest factory! 🍬 The process is fascinating and makes me appreciate these little candies even more. What’s your favorite M&M color?
@@CaptainDiscover blue! My grandson, 17 years old, didn’t believe me about finding a peanut M&M that was missing the peanut and it was solid chocolate! I showed him what to look for: perfectly round, not egg shaped in any way. I don’t think he believed me at first. He found one himself and I pointed out another, so he ended up with eating TWO! Your old grandma knew what she was talking about! 💕
I am 79 and a type 1 diabetic for more than 20 years, I am on an insulin pump. I never leave the house with out M & M's in my pocket, never, never, never. They are my go to if I have a low blood sugar event when I am not home. They don't break up and are always ready if I need them. Thank you for making the perfect candy for low blood sugar events. Just a couple of handfuls is all I need. Thanks again John B
Remember when we had the red dye #2 scare and the red M&Ms went away? They weren't even using #2, but people freaked out. For a LONG time. It's good to have the red ones back.
M&M's are so tasty always loved them still to this day the peanut M&M's are my Absolute favourite so delicious and the original chocolate M&M's are amazing too 😋😋
I wish that they would bring back the coconut 🥥 m&m I miss them they wore good and delicious too mmmm good bring back bring back bring back the coconut 🥥 m&m please and thank you
Absolutely amazing! The presentation is clear and engaging, I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. The video not only provides knowledge but also keeps it fun and interestin
I love them... I called the Company and asked why don't you just make chocolate M&M's????? I offered my opinion!!! I am waiting for them to do it... 😊😊😊...
Reminds me of my first job. I was a proof reader in an M&M factory. I had to eat all the "W"'s. I ate so many they had to move me to the Skittles line.

August 8. Just found this on UA-cam and guess what!? I’m eating a mix of M&M plain and peanut! I’m going to finally see how the “m” is printed on each one! 🎉
Every time I see things being mass produced I'm amazed that the factories don't run out of materials. Just think of the number of M&Ms there are out there in the world right now, and they're still making more.
I told my daughter when she was starting school, when asked what kind of job did her father have for a living? I told her to tell them that I was the person who, with a special paintbrush,, painted M&M on each one.
3:56 Those are SKITTLES. There was another clip near the beginning that also showed a different candy, the sour candy coated chewy Sweet Tarts. And yes I'm quick to recognize candy, lol, thanks to Halloween.
Informative content, pity about the lack of content at the same time as the voice over. Adds a level of distraction when visuals are not aligned with the spoken word.
I have to laugh when they talk about how the candies don't melt. They specifically mentioned that they didn't melt in the soldiers' pockets. Round about 1959 I walked to the corner store with my older brother. I bought a small bag of M&Ms and put the bag in my pocket for the walk home. About halfway home I took the bag out so I could eat a few. To my surprise they were melted. My brother and I had great fun spoofing their jingle, M&Ms don't melt in your hands they melt in your pocket!
Ok Captain, Nice content. With that said do you think it's possible to find footage of the early years of making M&Ms are made? Thanks God Bless from SOCali
I cracked a molar on a peanut M&M just about 3 years ago. I didn't realize I'd done it until a few hours later when I ran my tongue over the tooth and felt it. I made an emergency appointment with my dentist and got in the next day after work. He ended up putting on a crown. I had no dental insurance so I had to pay for it out of pocket. Most expensive M&M EVER!!!!
Love them and I use to eat them a lot more about 10-15 years ago but really over the past 5-7 years the prices have gone way up and the sizes of the bags have gone way down. Shrinkflation at work. I only buy a bag maybe once or twice a year now.
The sugar shell building is called wetting, each wetting process is completed by drying and then repeated till desired total weight desired of the M&M. They skipped the polishing process in its explanation.
My husband is sadly allergic to M&M’S due to the red dyes ! Red is in the chocolate inside ! I gave him a white M&M and he broke out . He’s very allergic to red dye !
The man shown at the 1:25 point in this video is not Bruce Murrie. It is H. P. Lovecraft. And while I'm sure the master of horror liked M&Ms, I seriously doubt he had anything to do with their creation.

@@CaptainDiscover You are Fake! And we'll all keep reporting your video for Misinformation.
Peanut Brand M&M is my favorite. Last time I bought M&M’s was about 10 years ago, I can’t afford an M&M on Disability pay.

The snack size m&m and skittles are amazing for that purpose because they’re just enough
Ever think about lowering your insulin dose instead of eating unhealthy candy?
Me too! My go to low fix!
Do you have bad thrush on your tongue? Do you drink a lot of Diet Coke?
M&M's were my #1 craving whenever I was pregnant! I love everything chocolate but everyone knew when I was inhaling M&M's that I was expecting 🍫🍫🍫
Remember when we had the red dye #2 scare and the red M&Ms went away? They weren't even using #2, but people freaked out. For a LONG time. It's good to have the red ones back.

That music followed and the "jolly" commentary really is ummmm something else 😂🤣🤣
This was very interesting! Now I would like to see who invented all the machines to make the process happen!
Definitely makes you appreciate these little treats even more!

I am glad someone else noticed.

One of my favorite candies
M&M's are my favorite! Loved this video. It answered a lot of questions I had about the 'how'. Thank you so much!
I feel so peaceful watching this. Please make more farm content!
❤Chocolate is good❤ if you don't like the shell peel it off. They come plain chocolate too. ❤Love the Green M@M❤
I grew up not far from a Nabisco factory in Chicago. When I drove past it I could smell the intoxicating aroma of `Nilla Wafers.
The chocolate might not melt in your hand, but the color coated candy shell sure does
Brain melting shell

They also have “Booger coat” and jelly belly logos like PAINFULLY present- all these videos are fake compilations with AI generated banners 🤢😤
Fun Fact: The fibrous husks can be processed and repurposed for use as mulch, biofuels, bioplastics, and paper.
Nice
Next time @ the store...... Gotta get some M & M's!!!!!!!!
Felt like watching a training video on my first day of work at the factory
Cocoa was proven to be good for the body❤Cocoa beans are great❤Enjoy❤
Makes me want to make a special trip to a store
At 9:39 the woman adding the colors to the vat of candy is wearing a Jelly Belly lab coat. LOL
Because not all video clips in the video are actually from the place that makes M&M's.
There's been clips of Sweet Tarts and Skittles too!
Right as he says “sprayed on with modern machines”
You know once upon a time only with Mister Rogers could you find out how things were made!
Good Morning, Philippines! #mars
great video of jelly beans being made

... and the unnecessary "happy talk," and all the images are reversed.
That's a picture of H.P. Lovecraft
I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!
Big pharmaceutical loves M&Ms
Love the video show us more
Ohh my god. I remember that commercial. I'm so old. but still feel like I'm 16.
❤ Is there a real M&M factory that gives tours..I would go..
This was edited a little funky
love m&m's
The chocolate melts inside the shell if exposed to a warm day at the beach.

How the “M” is put on the candy is a trade secret. You’ll never see it done.
Yes, but what do they do with all the ones accidentally printed with a W?
They need to make a rootbeer flavor m& m
Or a dark chocolate/mint.
12:00 💚 "Loved the focus on sustainability! 🌱 It's amazing to see how M&M's are not just delicious but also environmentally friendly! 🌍🍫"
At the Mars plant in Topeka, KS. M&Ms and Snickers bars are produced.
You're showing a reversed image video...probably to avoid copyright problems. So I don't think you are the author of this video.
Now we can't afford them.
1:50: so without saying it… Smarties in the UK were the original and predated M&Ms by several years
I used to put my M&Ms in the freezer. They were good that way.
l like the occasional bitter chocolate one's I come across then and now .
the candy i used to eat when i was a kid
Omg that music is so annoying
It’s for babies lmfao. I hate it !
No, it's you that's annoying

Nice tribute to "The Candy Man", by Sammy Davis Jr from 1972 at 3:05.
What's up with the Jelly Belly Factory footage in there? So much of this is not M&M's stuff. Pretty sure there were some sprees in there.
Can someone say something nice? Like “I love the Caramel M&Ms.”
Me, too!
Is it bad that I remember the M&M man commercial?

Kotay Devoray. Sheesh.
Do you do cinnamon ones
I don’t live in metric. Can’t you give temp in Fahrenheit?
I’ve never seen that many different colors.
This video is oozing with AI.
And making just about as many mistakes during the editing and mixing.
Im dying from diabetes because of this poison. Nice you romanticized it.
The sugar shell building is called wetting, each wetting process is completed by drying and then repeated till desired total weight desired of the M&M. They skipped the polishing process in its explanation.
Today's snack choice has been decided.
in the UK we have Smarties which very similar looking smarties was created in 1937
Interestingly enough, M&M's melt in my frozen yogurt.
