Loved your tips on reaching out to local brands, what sites to check out to see if a brand is running ads, and how to find the right email address! I’m also glad you spoke on perpetual usage rights and advised against it for paid media. I’ve seen other UGC creators advocate for giving a brand perpetual ad usage rights because they don’t want to keep track of it and/or think the brand won’t use their content/image forever. Personally, I have the same take as you and would only give perpetual rights for organic content not ads.
So glad you enjoyed the video!! Yeah I could see that happening, but I feel like if they want perpetual usage rights then they have to pay for it. I do agree that the companies probably won't use the stuff forever. But I don't want to risk it just in case the company gets into some kind of controversy or has a bad reputation.
